  I was able to plug it into the back of my stereo receiver (using a conversion cable of two rca plugs to one single mp3 plug). Now I can play CDs in my sound system and they sound great. I then attached it to my tv with the hdmi cable. Plays movies brilliantly. I then detached it from everything and played CDs in the kitchen while I baked. Sounded as well as my old boom box. I have not tried the blue tooth applications yet.
