  Does not feel cheap at all. It is solid and sturdy with no signs of looseness. However, the included mic clip may not be suited for ALL mics; it can be loose fitting depending on the mic. BUT the set comes with screws that may be compatible with whatever mic clip the mic came with, as it is with mine.
  
  The only real issue with the arm is that it may not be as large as some people may need it to be. It can only be so tall and reach so far so the placement can very limited and awkward, varying per user setup.
