It works very well at checking sinus rhythm. Take note that it is not a sophisticated 12-lead machine, and is not meant to replace getting a full ECG in a medical clinic. The device is meant for spotting issues with sinus rhythm, and for that it works very well.
I had no issues at all getting the device connected to the app on my Samsung smartphone. I use this when I have panic attacks to reassure myself that the issue is not with my heart function, and it is very helpful for that.

I'm so very impressed with the Checkme ECG/EKG Monitor with Chest Strap!

First off, this is different from the way a smart watch would check heart beat. The Checkme ECG, uses electricity the same way it is done in a hospital and is MUCH more accurate. This is the biggest selling point - accuracy.

The size is also a significant plus. It's very small in its full form, so about the size of my index and middle finger together! It sits in a protective "shell" and you remove it from it's shell (very easily) to use it. You hold it with your hands, following the indicated orientation. R for right hand and the other hand (left) goes on the other side. Readings start within 3 seconds and the OLED screen displays a visual representation of your heartbeat as a graph as well as a numerical indication of BPM (beats per minute). Each time your heart beats it emits a small "beep" as an indicator. The same way ECG's in the hospital do. The measurement period is 30 seconds long but you can keep holding on for continued monitoring up to 15 minutes.

What's really nice is that there are 3 methods of contact for measurement. Hand-Hand, Hand-Leg, or by using a very thankful included chest strap to be put below the pectoral muscles on the chest.

All of the BPM data is stored on the device and can be transferred via Bluetooth to your phone using the ViHealth App. An account is needed if you want to use THEIR AI analytics but you can also use the app in GUEST mode to just see your our records. Additionally, the records can be directly exported as a PF file from the app so sharing your data is very simple and intuitive.

The unit charges via USB-C which I like! Easy and available!

In reading and using this a bit more carefully, I found there is a little green LED (turns blue when transferring via Bluetooth, and indicates charging) that was blinking when not in use. Apparently, the device is in STANDBY mode.

I would have preferred if I could turn it off completely so save battery power and avoid potentially unwanted wireless connections, but that would literally be the only thing I don't like about this.

Otherwise, this is a FANTASTIC ECG device for home/personal/portable use!!!
