I picked up the Anbte Ultralight Folding Camping Cot as a lightweight sleeping option for camping and as a backup bed at home, and it’s been a great purchase. The biggest win is the balance between portability and sturdiness. It packs down small into the storage bag, doesn’t feel heavy to carry, and it’s easy to toss in the car for a trip. At the same time, once it’s set up, it feels stable and supportive rather than wobbly.

Comfort is better than I expected for an ultralight cot. It gets you off the ground, which makes a huge difference for cold nights and uneven terrain, and it feels firm in a good way. I’m not sinking into bars or feeling pressure points the way I have with cheaper cots. If you add a thin sleeping pad on top, it becomes genuinely comfortable for a full night of sleep.

Setup is straightforward after the first time. There’s a little learning curve because you’re tensioning the fabric over the frame, but once you figure out the order, it goes quickly. The side pocket is a nice touch for keeping a phone, headlamp, keys, or wallet within reach, and the storage bag makes it easy to keep everything organized.

For anyone worried about capacity, it feels solid and I can see it handling the rated weight as long as you’re using it on a flat surface and not jumping onto it. This isn’t a bulky military cot, but for the size and weight, it feels impressively well built.

Overall, if you want a lightweight cot for camping, travel, tent use, or an emergency indoor bed, this one is a solid value and a very practical piece of gear.

Nice cot but not easy to assemble

I love the look, packability, and construction of this cot; however, it took every bit of strength I had to get the side poles into place (the poles extend at least an inch past the pockets they go in) and here the cot sits because I cannot even get the leg clamps to budge to undo them. I tried using a flathead screwdriver as a lever to pry the clamp open but I'm afraid the plastic clamp might break if I apply too much pressure. What am I missing here? I have someone stronger coming by today to see if they might be able to release the clamps; otherwise I have a permanently assembled cot that I couldn't return if I wanted too. Any suggestions?.....As a follow up, I finally figured out how to remove the legs. Giving it a 4/5 for difficulty in inserting the side poles.

This ultralight folding cot is the solution we’ve been looking for to provide sleeping arrangements for our older grandkids and adults when they visit. We’ve tried various options before, such as folding mats, sleeping bags, and air mattresses. The most comfortable ones always took up too much storage space or were a hassle to set up.

We found the cot easy to assemble with minimum need for the instructions and it was ready to use quickly. The materials are high quality, and the aluminum alloy frame is sturdy and supportive. The design of the multiple crossbars provides stability and prevents tipping when you roll to the side. The oxford fabric is thick, durable, and comfortable to the touch. The locking mechanism for the crossbars has a secure snap.

We had three generations of people try it out, from elementary age to seniors, and everyone found it comfortable. The adults appreciated the wider 27.5 in. and 75 in. long size compared to our old, narrow camping cot. Another huge improvement is that there are no crossbars pressing into your back. Your weight is supported by the fabric suspended between the sides of the frame, and we didn’t notice any sagging, even with the heaviest adults.

All the parts fit into the included bag, which is about 17 in. long and 6.5 in. high, making it easy to store on a closet shelf between visits. The lighter weight of the bagged cot makes it accessible for any family member to carry.

Very sturdy and comfortable. Folds up small so it's very easy to store.. looks and feels like a quality item. It is very low to the ground so just got to understand that going in that can be little harder for older people. But it does remain stable bending in and out of it. I do take off one star because it's not the easiest to assemble and due to how low the ground it is

I got the Anbte camping cot for my trips, and it’s been really impressive. It only weighs 6.8 lbs and packs down into a small 17”x8”x7” bag, so it’s easy to throw in the car or carry for backpacking without feeling bulky. Despite being lightweight, it feels solid—supports up to 275 lbs thanks to the 7075 aluminum frame and 600D Oxford fabric, and there’s no sag in the middle when I lay down. It’s more comfortable than my ultralight and ultra expensive cot. The 75”x27.5” sleeping surface is surprisingly roomy, and the 8” elevation keeps me off cold or damp ground. I like the side pocket and loops for my phone and headlamp they keep essentials close without rolling around. Setup is a breeze with the side-press clip; just line up the crossbars and press down. It’s not just for camping either I’ve used it as a spare bed at home, and it’s held up well. So far it feels durable and I expect it to last for many trips.
