Current price point at the time/date of this review: $29.99 with no discount/coupon being offered. Pricing is simply fair at best and generally within the market going thresholds although a little up there in pricing comparatively speaking. Main standout feature which sets it apart however is that it offers a basic charging port/hole so that your unit can be charged even when stored within this case, which is convenient for travels and on the fly as it not only helps it all to remain neat and organized but also helps offer a protective shielding if you happen to be charging it in a bag or someplace where you want it to remain safe (or safer) being stored within a protective case.

Exterior material quality is fairly basic weave design and holds its form and shape reasonably well. It’s a decent fit and comes with a convenient storage compartment for your accessories along with a card sleeve with plenty of slots. An all around convenient unit particular for travels.

I do wish however that the charging point had a better sealed gasket and with more of a protective cover and insert as it’s a fairly basic cutout.

I used this with my original switch as I haven't received my switch 2 as-of-yet. It holds a decent number of games, and the zipper part fits a charger and other cords. Just as the item claims you can open a slot in the case to get the usb charger on it while in the case -- very convenient. I considered testing the switch lite in it, but the normal switch just reaches the two indents on the sides, and I imaging the light wouldn't "ride the hump" well. I'm very happy with this case, and I look forward to using it with my switch 2 whenever that arrives.

Although this is listed as a case for the Switch 2, it also specifies that it fits the Switch 1, which is what I have, so that is what I am reviewing it on.

The Switch fits inside with a little extra room...but that is to be expected since it's specifically designed for the Switch 2. It has a flap that folds down to protect the screen which I think is a good feature.

It holds quite a few games and has a zippered compartment for accessories or whatever else you want to put in there. The only negative is that it won't hold a bulky power adapter...but I suppose if it did, it would no longer be a compact case.

The size and shape of this case provides a really nice fit and the elastic bands in the middle help to keep things in place. The Velcro tab to hold the flap on top is a nice touch. And the inside of this case has a nice plush velvet feel while the outside offers a good rugged feel and look. The opening to insert charging cord is also a nice feature as is the zippered mesh pocket on the lid that makes sure things stay in place.

Overall, a very nice case.

This is an excellent case for your Switch 2. The case is a firm bodied shell, which should provide ample protection if you toss it into your bag. The interior fit is perfect - I also use a clear case on my Switch 2, so I was relieved to see it fit nicely into this case. The zipper is smooth acting and the little port up front allows you to charge the Switch 2 even while it is in the case! the interior liner is very supple and velvet-like, so it won't scratch your Switch 2. The screen cover acts as a game pocket as well. There is a zippered pocket inside, which should be enough to hold your JoyCons accessories and a USB cable, but it isn't deep enough to hold the power adapter (you can insert a slim battery pack if you have one).

Overall, I really love this case. Affordable and provides ample protection!

The case is quite sturdy and have room for plenty of accessories and game cart. The interior is beautifully velvety and soft. A little flaps cover the screen of the Switch 2 and have a velcro securing it down. If you want to use it with a Switch/OLED or a Switch Lite, there's 2 elastics to help it keep in place.

Now, the case is a bit too wide, and the Switch 2 will still slide left and right in it once zipped and the velcro attached.

When layed screen up, the console USB-C port doesn't quite align with the whole in the case, making it difficult to insert the cable, and probably creating stress on either the port or the cable. Also, the zipper from the net pocket, might rub on the left joycon when the pocket is closed, potentially scratching and damaging it aesthetically.

If you put the switch 2 screen first in the case, now the USB-C port is aligned with the hole in the case and plugging it is easy. BUT it put stress on the joystick as the depression each side of the case are not deep enough.

It's a good base, but needs to be slightly reworked!

I’ve tried several Switch 2 cases, and this one from FASTSNAIL really ticks all the boxes. It arrived snugly tucked in its branded box, and unpacking revealed a robust hardshell exterior that feels reassuringly sturdy in hand.

Inside, the plush velvet lining gently cradles my console—no scratches or scuffs, even when I’m tossing it into a packed backpack. The elasticated straps hold the Switch firmly in place; they take a moment to get used to, but once you’ve stretched them over the corners, the console never shifts.

A clever rubber flap around the USB-C cutout means I can charge without removing the device—ideal for long train rides when I don’t want to fumble with cables. The mesh pocket in the lid easily holds my charging lead and earbuds, while the zippered compartment beneath offers space for up to eight game cards or small accessories.

The double-zipper glides smoothly (even in low light), and the chunky carry handle feels great in the hand—no pinching or digging into my palm. At around 480 g empty, it’s light enough not to add bulk, yet substantial enough to inspire confidence that it’ll withstand daily knocks.

If you’re after a case that combines solid protection, smart storage, and pass-through charging, this one’s a standout. I’ve been using it daily for over a week, and it still looks and functions as if I just unboxed it. Highly recommended!
