A great anti-inflammatory combo that also includes piperine (black pepper) to increase absorption/bio-availability. Strong therapeutic dose per capsule and with 2 per day this bottle should last 3 months. The benefits of turmeric and ginger are acility with third party testing adds to my confidence in the quality and purity of the product. Good safety seals on the bottle and a decent expiry date to to give you ample time to use up before expiring.well documented and having them together gives you maximum effect. I have found that they are helpful to some degree but it took a week or so of commitment to really notice the benefits. The effect is profound enough for me to add this to my routine permanently. Relatively easy to swallow because they are in capsules. Seems to be a reputable company when I looked into them. Made in Canada in GMP f

    I've been taking these Turmeric supplements for a couple of weeks now, and I've seen some improvement in my joint and overall inflammation. I like that they include black pepper and ginger for better absorption, it believe this is more effective than the regular turmeric capsules.
    The serving is strong but gentle on my stomach. No side effects. I appreciate that it's made in Canada with quality ingredients. The bottle has 180 capsules, so it lasts a while, great value.
    For joint pain or looking for a natural anti-inflammatory boost, these are definitely worth trying.

    If you are reading this review and others then you have probably done your research and decided that a Turmeric supplement might be right for you and are in the process of deciding which brand is going to best meet your needs.

    This bottle of HERBA Turmeric Supplement with Black Pepper and Ginger contains 180 capsules. Each capsule contains a combination of turmeric powder, ginger powder, turmeric standardized to 95% curcumin and black pepper providing the equivalent of 5555mg of dried herbs. The recommended dosage is 2 capsules 1 time per day. The product is prepared in Canada and has an active and valid NPN (80136227). It is gluten free, vegan and non GMO. The bottle I received has a long expiry date of 04 2029. The capsules are what I would call averaged sized and I had no issues easily swallowing them (but I never do with any pills or capsules).

    I personally use a turmeric supplement for its anti-inflammatory properties. The addition of black pepper helps in the absorption of the turmeric. Your reason for use and the results achieved may vary and might be totally different than my experiences. Of course always consult your health care professional before using this or any supplement.

    Priced at $27.99 at the time of this review.

    Curcumin is an active component of the turmeric spice and part of what gives turmeric its yellow hue. While many people may not like the spice, getting a turmeric or curcumin supplement provides a good solution for being able to reap the health benefits of this product.

    One of the stated benefits of turmeric/curcumin is that that it helps relieve joint pain and many use it for this purpose.

    The benefits of using turmeric are as an anti-inflammatory and an antioxidant. I use it as an antioxidant. Personal results may vary from individual to individual.

    The brand name is Herba. The product is "Prepared in Canada".

    You get 180 capsules. Each capsule has 400 mg. of turmeric (curcuma longa). The bioavailability (absorption) is not good in the supplement itself and thankfully, this product adds black pepper to increase its bioavailability.

    Being a health food supplement, it is very hard to evaluate its merits but as an antioxidant, I consider a higher dose to be more of a benefit. This product boasts a 10:1 ratio making it equivalent 4000 mg. of dry herb.

    The capsules are of average supplement size. The container does not present with a strong odour, just a lightly discernible scented turmeric spice smell.

    The recommended dose is two capsules once a day. The product has an expiry date and also carries an NPN number.

    What is unique about this supplement is that it is a turmeric and ginger combination. This ginger (75 mg. per capsule) boasts a 20:1 ratio making it equivalent to 1500 mg. of dry herb.

    As someone who has been taking turmeric supplements for a while now, I find these Turmeric/Ginger supplements by Herba Health to be a great affordable option. Curcumin is known to have great health benefits and these supplements have the added benefits of ginger. The capsules are easy to swallow, and the generous quantity of 180 capsules (5,555mg) should last for a good few months, depending on your individual dosage. These capsules are vegan and the ingredients list is clean, simple and straightforward which is important to me.

    It's also worth noting that these contain piperine, which is known to aid in the absorption of curcumin. I personally only take turmeric supplements that include piperine/black pepper extract.

    Overall, I've found these to be excellent supplements. They offer great value for the price, providing a generous amount of capsules. Most importantly, they are easy to swallow and are a great choice for anyone seeking a good quality turmeric supplement with the added advantages of ginger.
