My nephew is 3 and VERY into astrology. He knows all of his planets and will spew lots of random facts about space. I thought this would be perfect for part of his birthday gift and when it arrived, I noticed on the box there were some planets I wasn't familiar with - I googled them and they are all dwarf planets. Great learning tool - I bet he doesn't know about them and this will allow him to learn even more! The background is very large and has grommets to hang it as well as 4 hooks included to stick on your wall for the grommets to hang on. The felt cutouts are a decent thickness and are sturdy, even the smallest ones, when popped out. There is a page of aliens and space ships as well to add to the fun! There are shooting stars and comets, all kinds of astrology related things that I just know this is going to be the perfect gift! There is velcro attached to the back of each felt cutout so that they will stick to the background. Fantastic & educational toy!

Pros:
- Excellent educational tool and great for any space lovers!
- Well made
- Easy to punch out the felt pieces
- Includes four hooks to stick to the wall via four grommets on the corners of the felt board
- Doesn't just include basic planets - also includes dwarf planets, aliens, meteors, stars, etc.

Opportunities:
- The reason I removed a star is because the felt pieces don't directly stick to the felt board; you need to adhere an additional velcro sticker to the board onto which a felt piece can be placed. However, you can only place the velcro on the board once. So there's no ability to place pieces in new areas. This vastly differs from another felt board I got my son in which the felt pieces are easily attached then removed from the board and can be placed anywhere.

This is a very educational yet decorative wall mural. There's just too many pieces for my kid to do in one sitting. It's very nice though made of some pretty tough felt like material. All the pieces have to be pushed out and the velcro pieces are stuck to each piece and a spot on the mural. Unfortunately it looks like once stuck in it's position you can't move it so there's no fun to be had to reposition anything.
