5.0 out of 5 stars Lots of organized storage. Very protective for your equipment.
My daughter and I both have mirror less cameras, with the Canon R50 and R100. Though she has her own bag already, when she saw this bag come in, she tried stealing it from me because she liked it so much.
The bag has plenty of storage for your camera, lenses and accessories. The inner compartment is configurable with Velcro dividers, allowing flexibility to fit your gear as needed. Along with the main compartment, there's a small storage area on the top front and a side pocket. Though it looks like there's a pocket on either side, one side actually opens directly to the main chamber. Depending on how you configure things, this may be a quick route to your primary device, the camera. I need to spend some time working on my layout for this access.
The side pockets are an area in which I believe the description is incorrect, or at least misleading. There's an image that states "Side pockets- Easy access pockets on both sides for frequently used items. Looking at the backpack, the right side zipper opens to the main compartment. There's no additional storage here so I wouldn't call it a pocket. The left zipper opens to a separate area. The two are not the same.
For the back, it unzips 3/4 way, with just the bottom remaining attached at all times. Configured as such, on the strap side, there's a laptop compartment with Velcro enclosure. On the main body side, there's a mesh holding the contents of the main body in place. I guess this mesh keeps things more secure but if you are trying to get to gear in the main compartment from the back, you must unzip two zippers to retrieve it, between the back and mesh. Seems slightly redundant but I guess if you're after the laptop only, it'll keep the other things in place.
For the final storage area, the bottom has some straps which can be tightened to hold something long like a tripod, or light stand.
While priced at what I'd expect to pay for a normal backpack, this one is not only high quality but provides additional organization for photography, or even other gadget-centered activities. I would frankly expect to pay a bit more for something customized as such so this seems like a good value for the money.
Overall, this is highly functional, built well, and designed with the photographer in mind. It's capable of carrying and protecting their gear either on travel or even with local activities.

5.0 out of 5 stars It's an excellent and affordable backpack that is both sturdy and secure.
This is a wonderful photography bag for beginners. It's a great blend of budget, quality, and functionality. It's not the fanciest bag on the block, but it's well made, and it will keep your camera, lenses, and miscellaneous gear safe and secure no matter where the journey takes you! ...unless that journey is inside an active volcano.
Good quality equipment at affordable prices seems to be NEEWER's specialty. I have always been a huge fan of their products, and I own several NEEWER lights, lens filters, and quality-of-life camera accessories. I have never had to return a NEEWER product, and so far, I have never had one of their products fail on me.
My experience with this bag has met all of my expectations and lived up to the NEEWER quality I have come to expect. While it is not the BEST bag on the market, it is certainly a GOOD bag.
The zippers are really nice, well made, and sealed to keep out all that pesky dust and weather. I love nature, but nature doesn't belong in my camera bag.
The top pocket is great for storing your sunglasses, extra SD cards, batteries, and lens filters. It has a nice, soft lining to prevent scratches, and, I believe, you could even add some velcro dividers to keep things more organized if you wanted to.
The main pouch can be accessed through the two side openings or by unzipping the large pocket and folding it open. If you're the kind of person who likes to wear your backpack in the front on occasion, the location of the zipper and the way the backpack folds opens makes it easy to access your camera gear on the go. The main pouch opens backwards which, besides the benefit I mentioned above, also makes it a tad bit more secure if you're in a busy public space.
I love it, and I feel like this is the perfect backpack for beginners or people on a budget who want a good quality backpack that won't break the bank.

2.0 out of 5 stars Awkward bag with odd layout
Pros:
The outer shell is water resistant and holds up decently against light weather. Zippers, straps, and hardware all seem well-built, and the outer construction feels solid for the price. As a basic protective shell, it gets that part mostly right.
Cons:
The interior is where things start to unravel — literally. The inner material is that low-end felt-like fabric that pills fast and turns into a fuzz trap after a few uses. The dividers use the same material and Velcro combo, and after a few adjustments, I could already see wear creeping in. Also, the bag's layout is just bizarre. The side access is on the wrong side for right-handed users, which makes grabbing your camera a struggle unless you’re double-jointed or just ambidextrous. Add to that the strange way the main compartment opens — you have to lay the bag on its front, with the back panel facing up. That’s backwards compared to almost every other camera backpack I’ve used. Space-wise, it’s not forgiving either. A Canon DSLR body with a battery grip fits, but just barely. Tried a 17-40mm with a hood and a 70-200 combo, and the configuration just doesn’t cooperate without cramming or leaving things unsecured. The product title says "Large" but I must have a different definition for this is a medium sized bag at most.
Bottom Line:
This bag might work for casual mirrorless users with smaller gear and no specific layout needs, but anyone carrying bulkier setups or DSLRs — especially right-handed shooters — you'll probably be frustrated fast. Between the cheap interior and head-scratching design choices, this one’s a miss for me.

5.0 out of 5 stars Smallish bag that can hold a lot of gear at a great price
You can't have too many camera bags, so when I saw the Neewer Basics bag I thought what the heck, I'll get one. First impressions are that it's much better made than I was expecting with weather resistant fabric, neatly sewn seams, reinforcement in critical areas and nice looking zippers. As I expected our 13" MacBook Air slipped into the designated pocket easily, and I was surprised that our 15" MacBook Pro would fit as well (no go for the 16 MBP). The shoulder straps are nicely padded and I really appreciate the strap to secure the shoulder straps together. As expected, I was able to easily fit my smaller APS-C camera body, four lenses, extension tubes and flash inside. I thought I'd try to fit my professional DSLR rig in and was surprised how will the bag accommodated the larger camera body and lenses. I was even able to fit my 80-200 f2.8 lens! The side access flap to the main compartment is an interesting feature and if I rearrange the dividers I think I can make that useful for my workflow. The pocket on the opposite side is supposed to be a tripod pocket, but I don't own a tripod that small, so I'm thankful that the bag also has a pair of straps on the bottom for holding a tripod. I'm not sure how I feel about the mesh flap that zips over the camera compartment. I assume it's there to keep things from spilling out when you open the bag, but I think it's as an unnecessary barrier between me and my gear. I may find a way to roll it up out of the way or cut it out entirely. All said, it's a value packed and versatile bag. Another option for this bag I am considering is pulling out all of the dividers out and use it to carry LED light panels.

4.0 out of 5 stars Real-World Gear Fit. Great Bag with One Small Flaw (Spelling Error).
If you're like me, you want real-world examples of what camera gear can actually fit into a bag before buying it. Here's what I was able to pack into this one:
Camera Body: Sony A7Riii
Lenses: 16-35mm GM, 24-70mm GM, 100-400mm GM, 90mm Macro G
Accessories: 1.4x GM teleconverter, 4 Z-series batteries, battery charger, 2 small flashes, camera strap, 2 microfiber towels, and a basic air blower
Even with all of that, nothing was crammed or bumping into each other, and I still had room left for a few miscellaneous items. In my opinion, the interior volume is more than enough for most day photo excursions.
The bottom of the bag includes straps for attaching a tripod, which is a nice touch. The shoulder straps are well-padded, which helps reduce fatigue during long walks or hikes. There's also side access for those who prefer quick entry to their gear. I personally blocked off that side access to maximize the available space inside. I’d rather carry more gear than save a few seconds accessing it.
The main compartment opens from the back panel, so you’ll need to take the bag off to access it. Some people like this feature because it helps protect against theft and keeps the part that touches your back clean when laying the bag on the ground. Personally, I’m not a huge fan of back-panel access, but I recognize that’s a matter of preference.
Other handy features:
Side pocket: Great for storing documents
Top compartment: Perfect for quick-access items
Material: Appears water-resistant as water beads off it nicely
Build quality: Solid overall. I closely examined the stitching and it all looks well-done.
One downside: The printed phrase along the lower back reads “You Create We Illuminte.” Obviously, this is a typo, as they meant “Illuminate.” It's a silly oversight that undermines an otherwise professional-looking product. Honestly, they would’ve been better off not printing anything at all, saving money and avoiding the error.
Final Thoughts:
This bag has excellent storage capacity, solid build quality, and thoughtful design features for day trips or even light travel. I just wish the branding detail was handled better. Otherwise, highly recommended for photographers who like to carry a full setup with them.
