- How to Test USB Cables?
First, toggle the switch to your chosen power supply mode. Next, insert the USB cable into the corresponding USB port, and the LED indicators will light up, indicating the connection status and functionality of the USB cable.

The Reference of Different Cables to Different Lights
Test Example 1:
The USB cable tester operates at a DC voltage range of 5V to 12V. Upon power connection, the power indicator LED (red) on the PCB illuminates.
Test Example 2:
Cable tester connected to a Lightning cable. Under normal cable conditions, 5 LEDs light up: a power group (VBUS and GND), a data reception group (D+ and D-), and either CC1 or CC2 indicating the orientation (front/back side).
Test Example 3:
The USB cable tester, when connected to a Micro-AB USB cable, illuminates four LEDs under normal operation:
- Power pair: VBUS & GND LEDs
- Data transmission pair: D+ & D- LEDs The device complies with USB 2.0 specifications.
Test Example 4:
The USB cable tester, when connected to an RJ45-terminated network cable, illuminates all 8 "Network" LEDs on the PCB if the cable is crimped according to T568A/B wiring standards.
Test Example 5:
The USB cable tester, when connected to a dual Type-C USB 3.2 cable, illuminates 22 LEDs. The cable supports high-speed video and audio transmission. Please note that only one set of the two D+/D- signal pairs can be activated simultaneously at a time
Test Example 6:
When the USB cable tester is powered normally (with the power LED illuminated) but exhibits an insufficient number of activated LEDs upon cable insertion, this indicates an internal open circuit or physical damage at the cable connector interface.
