Been looking for a tabletop TV stand to replace the factory feet that comes with the TV as they’re too low, widely spaced and take up a lot of real estate in front/behind the TV.

The stand includes all screws & tools inside labelled bags that have been sectioned off for each phase, similar to IKEA. The only thing missing was a Philips head screwdriver.

The steel material feels durable, and the tempered glass base is a good size to prevent tipping.

When assembled it adds a good amount of weight, approx. 10lbs to your TV weight. The stand is spec’d to support TV’s up to 88lbs.

The column has 9 adjustable heights allowing you to fit TVs from 32” to 70” or allowing you to raise the TV to a better eye line for smaller TVs. Not only can you adjust for height, but the mount allows the TV itself to swivel approx. 30° clockwise/counterclockwise and up to 8° up/down so you can get the best view.

I have a TCL 50Q651F TV that has a 200 x 200 VESA mount points and the stand supports 100 x 100 to 400 x 400, so it should work fine.

Due to the design of the TV, the VESA mount points are on the lower half of the TV, so it places the screw holes all the way to the bottom of the mount arms. Hanging on the stand was easy, but I found the TV was VERY high and looked weird. With the setup adjusted for the lowest possible position my TV is still 8” off the top of the table, so it still looks weird.

I was able to 3D print some risers for my sound base, so it sits on top of the base of the mount, which does make it look a bit better, but still too high.

The back of the column has cable clips to keep your wiring organized and out of sight, but because of all the thick wiring for the coax & multiple HDMI, the clip won’t close or will pop open when the TV is moved. I would have liked if the clips were a bit larger to allow it to fit more wiring.

The best feature of the stand is the swivel function. I can rotate the TV up to 30° to each side so the TV is in a better viewing position for me due to the location of my TV. The base is stable, so there’s no worries that the stand will tip/move when swiveling the TV.

Overall, the Perlesmith PSTVS26 universal tabletop TV stand worked well. Excellent build quality, stable, and compatible with a wide range of TV sizes & brands, but it’s not great for smaller TV’s or TV’s that have the VESA mount points at the bottom half of the TV as it positions it way too high above the table and doesn’t look great.

At the time of this review, the stand was on sale and priced at $49.99.
