This is one of THE CUTEST wooden play kitchen sets ever. If you're going for that no-plastic aesthetic, this brings it! There are a few different types of "food" and ways to play. Some ingredients can be cut with a knife (attached together by velcro) to help your little one practice preparing food for cooking or cutting food before eating. Some food is made of felt and can be "sprinkled in" to season. There is a stock pot and frying pan, plus cooking utensils to "prepare" food in. There are plates, cups, and forks & knives to eat with (including a salt and pepper shake to season to taste! So cute!).

This whole set is perfect for younger toddlers in terms of sizing and we love finally finding something that fits our little two year old's tiny hands and is proportioned well. The quality is excellent and on par with what we've come to expect from the Lehoo brand. Each wooden piece is finished beautifully without any roughness in the wood or chips in paint.

Love this set and would highly recommend for the quality, value, toddler-sizing, and adorableness!

This is a very nice vintage set. To me it is best used in merely a prop, meaning set the whole set up as if to use it and just let it sit, for viewing. It is rather heavy and perhaps dangerous for small children to use as it could and would really hurt a child should they throw a piece at another or anything. It would also break anything it might hit, a window, the wall, as in a dent or body injury. The vegetables are odd in that they are felt and the mushrooms are very large and out of proportion to the other items, some other vegetable would be better recognized. The cutlery is too large for easy usage for children. Plastic items are less to hurt and more pliable for use, wood is nice for old times sake. Another thing that would be of great use for this set is a container to store them in after use, one in which they could arrive in. The box, it comes in, is too small for a child to successfully replace the pieces and therefore the pieces will be lost no doubt. To me this is nothing to play with for any fun although it is nice to look at, for whatever reason.

This is a beautiful, quality (mostly wood, except for a few smaller pieces, velcro, and details) than reminds me of similar wood play sets from my own childhood. Classic, timeless look and feel, surprising quality, especially for awesome price (for this day and age) that could end up being handed down years to come.

Mostly wood, smooth finish, and gentle, calm colours, with just a few felt details such as the greens on the carrot, and velcro to secure two sides of carrot, or potato, and tomato.

Love the attention to detail, such as the smooth finished edges, no sharp edges. Lots of variety of food items, utensils, cookware. Got this for young grand-neice's birthday. Would definitely recommend.

I was so impressed unwrapping this set and would absolutely buy again as a gift. The entire set is wood, with the exception of a few felt pieces (which are quite small and I could see getting lost really quickly). Everything is painted well with nice colours/patterns. Packaging is simple and the plastic is minimal.

A few pieces are quite small, and could easily go right into your little's mouth - so I wouldn't recommend this set for kids under 3 years old. There's lots of variety and even a few vegetables that velcro together and can be "cut" in half.
