These "blood booster" supplements arrived packaged in a bottle with a security seal on the top. The bottle contains 120 capsules. They have a recommended dosage of 1 capsule a day. Each capsule contains 28 mg of Iron, 100 mg of vitamin C, 400 mcg of Folate, and 30 mcg of Vitamin B12. I am not going to go over all of the benefits of the ingredients in these capsules since it is well documented. Having this combination of medicinal ingredients is very beneficial and they do work in concert with each other. The capsules are made in a Health Canada licensed facility from real whole foods. They even provide an NPN number which indicates it is a natural health product (NHP) and has been assessed and licensed by Health Canada for safety, quality, and efficacy. The capsules are easy to swallow and it is recommended you take these a few hours before or after food. The price for these capsules works out to be around 10 cents a capsule which is a great price. I do recommend these capsules to anyone who requires iron supplements.

    Very good product, and easy on the stomach for sure. No nasty side effects from this one. Now mind you I don't recommend this based on my experience for low iron treatment, but I do for prevention or if you are sitting on the lower end of iron. I really like that they added the vit c directly to it as well, which increases the absorption of the iron. Otherwise the product is as described, and I have no complaints. I don't feel the benefits, yet, that's the only reason I hesitate to give it five stars for now, as I can't effectively gauge that part so far.

    The bottle comes about 2/3 full. I'm a big fan of bottles coming 100% full to minimize plastic waste so the company could improve in this regard. The capsules are nice and small and easy to swallow. It's nice that they include vitamin C and B12 to help with absorption, though the mg for both are much lower than I would like. Presumably the milligrams listed are per capsule, but it doesn't say that. It also does not list what the capsules are made out of. So there is room for improvement on label clarity. I also find the "feel energized stay vibrant" slogan cheesy to see on health products. I do like that they're Canadian made. The vegetable powders are a cute touch, though the quantities are so minute they won't really make a difference, so it seems more of a marketing gimmick to have them there. A good amount of iron but I would take additional vitamin C and additional vitamin B12 to go along with these.

    This comes with 28mg of iron per pill whereas most supplements I usually see are 45mg. This is a more gentle dosage suitable for mild iron deficiency. It's important to know what to buy (ask your doctor) because too much iron can actually be very harmful! So, happy to see more mild dosages like this.

    I like that it is not just raw iron but also comes with other ingredients to help with iron absorption, this helps treat the root cause and not just the symptoms.

    $11.99 for 120 pills, is inexpensive assuming one pill per day. So far, so good, I did not have any bad reaction taking this, and I trust the manufacturer for the rest (proper dosage etc.).

    Overall - a convenient "all-in-one" pill for iron deficiency!

    I am a man and ordered this iron supplement because it has the right combination of ingredients. Most of the time men do not need iron supplements, but I do because I donate blood regularly and my doctor checked and confirmed my iron is low and recommended supplementation. Some men have a tendency to retain too much iron, so check with doctor before supplementing. Iron biglycinate is a form of iron that is gentle on the stomach, and it is supplemented with vitamin C to help with absorption, and includes some b vitamins that help as well. It comes as a standard capsule, no problem taking it.

    I get blood-loss iron-defciency like its going out of style. I've been on and off different iron pills for most of my life, and even several series of iron infusions.

    This is supposed to be a more bioavailable form of iron. Its hard to tell subjectively if your body is absorbing better or not. But according to my blood work, my iron and b12 levels are holding steady, so for me at least it's doing the trick.
