    This picnic basket comes with a thermal lining and a charcuterie board as the necessary tools. Very suitable for my needs! It's currently 25 degrees outside with the cold front that just came in. But as soon as it warms up this nifty little basket will come in handy again. I've already tested to see how well the thermal lining works. It works just as good as the ones I take to the grocery store. I can't wait to take it out again, who doesn't love a nice picnic date?

    This basket is much better quality than I was expecting. I really love it!

    The basket is made very well. It is strong, sturdy, and durable. The handles are attached securely and are easy to use - the flip up and down with no issue.

    The basket is lined with an insulated liner. I wasn't sure I would like this, but it is very handy! The liner has a zipper to close it. The liner is sort of loose inside the basket, but once you put items into it, it holds its shape and works well. It is insulated, so it does provide some protection to the contents, but it isn't like a cooler that will keep your food cold (or hot) for long periods of time. This isn't an issue for me - as I only need the liner to protect the food for short picnics or lunches on the boat.

    The bamboo lid sits on top the basket and can be straped down with the straps attached to the basket. The straps keep the board in place very well. You can completely unstrap the board from the basket if you want, and use the board as a charcuterie board - very versatile.

    The board has utensils attached by magnets. The magnets are fairly strong and hold the utensils well.

    I ordered this basket to use for picnics on the pontoon at the cabin. It's also going to work well for snacks while stargazing on the deck at night, and even as a lunch basket for road trips. Very versatile.

    The price of $45.99 might seem high, but when you consider that this basket is lined and has a charcuterie board, the price doesn't seem as high.
