I bought 3 and all 3 were defective with the same issue - low levels on 12v. Returned 1 for replacement and it was also defective, again low level of 12v. So in total I had 4 of these PSUs and experienced a failure rate of 100%. Apparently, Corsair has no quality control. Do not waste your time and money - find another brand or buy some Tylenol when you purchase 1 of these PSU's!

Unfortunately cable and can be placed under great stress when installing; this power supply makes it easy by allowing you to replace the damage cable and not the entire unit. Great product great price point no need to upgrade for some time to come at 1000 W this is a great addition to my PC. Unfortunately, Cable management can be a little troublesome and the zip ties included while they bring down the quality of the installation. I found better solutions, but wish that there were those solutions in the box.

This sound is getting louder over time.

I'm a PC builder and I can say, I plugged this in and my system came right up. I got the 1000w one because of the graphics card. If you have a high-end gamer graphics card that can do VR, then get at least the 1000watter. If you're running a basic system, you don't need as much power. I pretty much leave my system running 24/7 and it goes in to low power mode. So far, no problems. Great power supply for system builders. Came with all the cables.

I am not a terribly brand loyal person, I have no issue buying off brand products, but when it comes to PSU, I don’t cut corners. It’s not worth the risk to valuable components and Corsair is one of the top names in power supplies. I picked up the 1000W and was not disappointed in the least. The fully modular unit was easy to install and came out looking nice and clean. It’s quiet and does exactly what I need it to do.

There is nothing wrong with saving a buck on components, but when it comes to power delivery, go with a trusted name. I have used Corsair power for many years, never had any issues.

This has been great so far, practically silent, and more power than I need. I haven’t had any of the issues with whine, excess noise, or excess fan speeds that some have talked about. It’s great.

Learn from my mistakes. The instructions clearly say to use the cables that came with it, but I really wanted to just swap it out without redoing the cable routing in my case. That was a mistake. I tore my hair out trying to figure out why this wouldn’t run, even ordered a replacement. I had given up and swapped out all cables except the MB cable, and still no luck. I finally gave up, and as a last resort pulled my MB cable and replaced it with the one that came with this PSU. It started right up.
