These soft bath books are adorable! The colors are bright and cheerful, and the pictures are really cute, which instantly caught my 1-year-old’s attention. The text is in both English and French, which is a fun way to introduce basic words in two languages. My little one enjoys trying to repeat the words after me, which is a sweet bonding moment.

The front and back covers have crinkle material, which adds some sensory fun, but I do wish all the pages had something similar or extra textures to help keep her interest a bit longer. After a few minutes, she usually ends up putting the book in her mouth and then loses interest.

One feature I absolutely love is that they’re machine washable—super easy to clean! Just toss them in the washer and you’re done, which is so important for baby toys.

I do wish there was a book focused on the alphabet, since those are often the first basics we teach. That would’ve made the set even more useful.

Overall, these books are a lovely addition to bath time or playtime, especially for early word learning, but a few extra engaging features would make them even better.

These books are great! We got them for my daughter who will be 1 in a few weeks and they are so up her alley. We will be teaching her both French and English so these are such great little starter books that she can chew and toss about. She has other crinkle books and loves them, especially now that she knows how to flip pages! The hooks make it easy to strap to stroller or car seat or diaper bag. They are machine washable and that alone in a baby toy deserves 5 stars. If I can throw it in a laundry bag and in the washer to clean, you have already saved me time and energy! The only thing I will say is I didn’t read the title fully so I was expecting bath books—like the plastic kind of books that wipe clean and are waterproof. I’m actually happy they are the crinkle ones because like I said, machine washable. I just didn’t expect that’s what they would be because the title did mention bath book, but that could be my bad for not reading the entire description.

This generous supply of six 'soft books' has proved to be a hit. Both to the (usually bath time) reader who seems to love the bright and cheerful colours, plus the unusual treat of books-in-the-bath; and also to the parents who appreciate the little library's pretty much indestructible nature and resistance to soaking. From the latter's point of view the bilingual text is a plus but probably lost for the time being on their toddler offspring - but who knows what linguistic learning foundations may be being laid in the course of 'just' play? In short, these cheerful small books do what they're meant to and do it well, they provide obvious abundant pleasure and also the price is reasonable. What more could be asked? Which equals recommended.
