cute, little humidifier
This cute humidifier is perfect for any small space! It can be used in spaces beyond a nursery. We started using it in our small bedroom at the trailer as it gets a bit dry at night. It works really well, and you can adjust to just the perfect level of mist that you want and it even has a cool nightlight. We don't use the nightlight feature, but we've demo'ed it in our video. It uses light shades of blue and green so it won't distract you from sleep if you decide to use that feature. You can use the light feature separately too! So you don't even need to use the humidifier if you just want a soft light ambience in the background while you sleep. Last thing I wanted to mention is that you can also use it as a diffuser! While this humidifier is quite small, has quite a bit of features that can make your purchase worthwhile.

This is a great humidifier for your baby's room. It has a solid base so it won't be easy to flip over accidentally and it gives off a lot of mist on the highest setting. The humidifier is very quiet you can hear a little gurgle of water but it is so minimal and we sleep with a white noise machine on anyway it's not going to bother us. I like that you can also use it as a nightlight where you can choose a specific colour or you can have it shifting through the colours. You can also add essential oils like the Breathe Frida Vapour drops but the manual says you can use any essential oils as long as they are safe for baby which I like cause it means they aren't requiring you to use their drops.

This Frida Ultrasonic Humidifier is quite small and compact making it easily fit into a space without taking up too much room but still feels sizeable enough that you wouldn't have to be constantly filling it up. I have had other ultrasonic humidifiers before and their tank capacity was much larger, my last one was probably double the size and I'd still have to refill it once during the night when it was really dry so this one would also need to be filled regularly, it's just not insanely mini.

The tank itself is bit of a weird shape, with it being triangular it's hard to get a decent grip on it in order to fill it and I'm certain it will be dropped at some point, especially if tired or on autopilot. Along with the shape making it hard to handle, the way to fill it is a little confusing, you have to unscrew a tiny cap beside a larger hole and it seems like an odd choice design-wise. Again, if tired or not fully alert, it would be really easy to start filling the middle hole instead of unscrewing the cap because it feels more intuitively that that's the way it should be done. Not only that, the hole to fill it from is very small so not optimal in that sense either, especially if pouring from a large bottle of distilled water as to mitigate mineral deposits from tap water. So while trying to juggle an incredibly non-ergonomic tank to get water into a tiny hole, it feels poorly thought out and not as user friendly as it should be, especially given it is mainly marketed towards use for babies by mothers who already have their hands full enough. I will say though, it is set up so that the corner of the triangle is in the back so it would be a perfect fit in a corner unlike a round or rectangular one.

The humidifier itself seems to work quite well, it's not overly dry in my place recently so I only used it for an hour or so to get a feel for it but while it was on it did feel refreshing and the mist was nicely dispersed. The nightlight is just a couple shades of blues and greens which is more calming than if they incorporated colours like reds, yellows and purples but it actually moves kind of abruptly through the colours which makes it not as relaxing as it could be. You can press the light button on a chosen colour for it to stay steady though, and the light can remain on even if the humidifier isn't. I also liked that you can move the top spout to control where the mist is aimed.

While on it makes a trickling sound which may be calming for some and annoying for others as it is not silent. The humidifier itself is fairly quiet but not silent either, it has a bit of a motor-running type sound that isn't the best form of white noise in my opinion, it's a little grind-y sounding.

I'm a little confused by the lifetime warranty, it is mentioned on the box but there is nothing in the included pamphlet about the warranty or details about it or how to file a claim if needed.

Lastly, I found a couple of the choices made on the packaging a little strange- a cartoon baby with green snot pouring out it's nose on the top of the box, and then "I get turned on easily" inside the box... I can understand the sick baby as it's branded that way but it still feels like an interesting choice, however, also then having an adult innuendo seems a little displaced. I'm not personally offended but it comes across as a little off-putting and confusing at the very least.

Overall it is a fine humidifier and I enjoy the light, trickle sound, nightlight colours and angled spout. I will definitely use it when needed and feel confident it will do the job. I'm mostly annoyed with the shape and water intake, and I feel at 84.99 CAD, it is a little pricey but humidifiers generally are so I can't fault it too much for that. If I was in the market again, I'd probably look elsewhere but there is nothing overly wrong with this model, just some preference points.

Absolutely love this humidifier. It’s adjustable so you can determine how damp the environment gets. I’ve been using it to help with my 2yo’s stuffy nose and congestion and it’s helped a ton. I add the Frida baby drops to it.

This is a must have for your infant or toddlers room! The Frida baby humidifier is a good size Humidifer, which can regulate the humidity in a bedroom very well. I really love that it is cold air mist, which is cooling! If I fill the Humidifer 3/4 way through it runs the entire night and then some with no problems! I put the Frida baby Vapor smell in the Humidifer, which works exceptionally to clear my child’s sinuses when sick. It also serves as a night light, which is an added bonus. Cleaning is quite easy and doesn’t require much effort if taken care of periodically. Note: you will need to use distilled water. You can use regular water but could impact the longevity and quality of the Humidifer. Definitely recommend!

This humidifier is great and comes in a very simple and minimalistic shape. This humidifier is very easy to use. Just twist off the cap and fill the inner chamber up to the water line. I like that the cool mist can be directed in whichever direction you want by moving the spout. It will shut itself off after the water tank is empty automatically so it is not running non-stop. The blue and green lights are nice but I wish it would have been able to cycle through all the different colours, like pinks and purples as well. I have this humidifier in my daughter's room, and it has greatly reduced the amount of static electricity in her clothes. Her skin was very dry before and this has also improved with the added humidity. This is a good little machine and does what we need it to do. However, I do think it is slightly pricey for what it does.

I purchased a humidifier in early February for around $55, and was looking to purchase it again when I saw the opportunity to get this product from the amazon Vine program at no cost. The product I purchased in February had a 4.4 start rating from about 500 reviews, and I was honestly quite happy with it, and ready to re-order. But this product is so much nicer. While the first humidifier was fairly quiet, this unit is very nearly silent when operating. Definitely an upscale product at a moderate price premium over a nice, mid-range product.
