    Overall, it's a great kit for the price that you pay. I was able to terminate my own cables, at custom lengths for some at home projects. Is it the best you can buy? No, but it's perfect for it's price point.

    Overall, the instructions included are not very user friendly, and the few diagrams that they provide in the instructions are so small that it's hard to tell which are solid colours, and which are stripped colours. The clamp lock system is also poor, as it is easily triggered which caused a few cuts all the way through on the CAT cables.

    I've used the VCELINK brand of RJ45 connectors for quite a number of jobs I've done and they have been reliable for CAT5e and CAT6 terminations.

    This is an inexpensive, but complete kit for doing very basic wiring. I comes with 50 x RJ45 connectors, and corresponding strain-relieves. The crimper and cutter and wire strippers are of good quality. Certainly good enough to properly terminate the ends.

    The battery powered continuity tester is rudimentary. I crossed checked it with a Fluke meter and it gave the same results, as expected.

    If you need a kit to wire up to about 25 wire runs, then get it. You can't go wrong at this price point.

    Basic ethernet crimping tools with tester - How's everything you need in order to crimp your own RJ45 ends. It even comes with a tester to verify your work. I would perform a A more robust tool if crimping on a daily basis, but for a once in a while use, this is perfect.
