Amazing come back album!
Wow, I have always been a huge Linkin Park fan and I wasn't sure how this new album was going to go. But man, I love it! Absolutely love it, it feels like they really went back to their roots and paid homage to Chester with this while making it their own as well. Armstrong's vocals make the hair on the back of my neck tingle and just blow me away everytime I hear her really dig into the tracks.

Music review: A nice nostalgic throwback, some amazing new tunes, some familiar elements of their unique style, jam packed into this CD. Go buy this CD, it is worth the buy. Emily Armstrong, their new vocalist, holy crap, she hits it out of the park, her vocals are absolutely amazing and are able to mesh well with the band's music style.
Packaging review: One thing to note is the ecopack cardboard packaging, which feels flimsy but I suppose all music CDs now opt for this type of packaging. I miss the jewel plastic cases. I carefully slid the CD out and it was already scratched and have some kind of bumpy residue over it. I tried using a microfibre cloth to wipe the excess packaging dust off, but the residue stayed. I just finished playing the entire album on my PC and didn't notice any skips so I think the scratches/residue wasn't enough to affect the music...but will listen to it a few more times to double check there aren't any issues. Also the album dimensions are a tad larger than your typical CD plastic cases so if you have a traditional CD storage tower with a fixed width, it won't likely fit (at least for mine it didn't).
I gave it a 4/5 because of the CD scratches due to the packaging.
Music deserves 5/5 by the way.
