I think this wooden puzzle is great. I haven’t built the entire thing, but what I have so far does feel well made. It looks very close to the photos (so far), and I think it does fit together nicely. Some things are a interference fit, meaning that you only really get one chance though, so I would say you do need to take care when putting those pieces in. They’re labelled in the instructions though so you shouldn’t have any issues with it.

I think the only thing that might throw people off is that it’s not really a book nook. It’s more of a bookend kit. That isn’t saying that it doesn’t look good or anything, it’s just not a book nook.

Overall, I don’t really have anything bad to say about it so far. I don’t really like that it’s being advertised as a book nook, but what can you do. It’s currently $50, which I think is a little steep, however, many book nooks are this price. This is subjective though, so I would say if you like it, it’s definitely worth it. This is a really fun puzzle to put together as I've always been partial to trains. The pieces are simple enough to pop out of their packaging and come together with a good fit. Overall the level of difficulty is decent as it's not something you can do blindfolded but neither is it something that takes "ship in the bottle" levels of precision.

Once the piece is assembled your left with a beautiful set of book ends that can serve a functional purpose as well as serve as a nice conversation starter.

The pieces fit together mostly without adjustment. I had to sand some of the tabs. The wood is strong and nothing broke during careful assembly. The colors are fantastic.
