SP20285 Horizontal Vent Termination Kit

SP20285 is for high efficiency tankless gas water heater 2 inch horizontal vent termination.

Ventilation performance is very important for tankless water heaters to ensure safe and reliable operation that can improve your confidence when using.

It can greatly improve the aesthetics of the exterior wall, compared to exposed pipes. It can also be painted to match your exterior, the orignal is beige.

This vent only fit for 2 inch PVC and ABS pipings, so you need confirm this before buying. It is 5.5 inch between center to center.

Easy To Install. Firstly, you need to make sure the size is right, and reserve cutting size if your pipes are too long, 1 inch protrusion on the exhaust side and 2.25 inch on the intake side in order for the vent to fit properly.

If you are installing a boiler, water heater, or a similar appliance - these are the best termination flanges you can get. Oddly enough, they are semi-hard to find in my region. They have a bird screen on both sides. They can be glued to your PVC, or just slip on.

It is a two piece design - it has a landing flange that screws to the surface of the building, and a closure flange that screws to the landing flange. It is paintable (as you see in my photo - I painted it to match the my building). You can mount these sideways, or vertical. If you mount it vertical, make sure you put the exhaust port on the top, although I am not sure if this is a requirement. The air intake pulls from all four sides.

Overall, this is a great product, I do recommend. I bought a second one for another project. Be sure to check your venting requirements on your appliance to get the correct size. Pictured is the 2" model.
