This attachment has been a fantastic addition to my kitchen��it��s so easy to use and incredibly convenient. Switching out the blades to achieve different results is simple, and cleaning it is effortless thanks to its thoughtful design. The shell and blade drum are made of plastic, while the blades themselves are sturdy metal, which ensures durability.

I wish I had purchased this sooner, not just for the convenience but also for the variety of foods it allows me to prepare. Recently, we used it to slice apples for homemade apple chips, and it worked beautifully. The slicer gave us perfectly uniform slices that baked evenly, resulting in a delicious and healthy snack. The attachment didn��t perform as well with cheese, though��it tends to stick and wedge between the blade drum and shell. For that, we��ll continue to use our KitchenAid food processor.

This slicer shredder attachment for KitchenAid mixers is compatible with Cuisinart mixers! I have developed a bit of carpal tunnel and arthritis in my hands. Slicing hard vegetables like carrots, makes my hand and shoulder unhappy. I tried a food processor, but it couldn��t handle carrots.

I��ve attached a video of this slicer attachment being used on a Cuisinart mixer. It works!

My daughter used the shredder attachment on carrots and made morning glory muffins! Just for fun. I have attached a photo of her muffins. As you can see the carrots look quite nicely shredded.

I am very excited that such an attachment exists for KitchenAid and Cuisinart mixers! Oh, happy day! I definitely recommend this attachment!

These work with my name brand mixer. I got it because I mostly use a hand grater but my hands are bothering me more so I've been avoiding it. I was also hoping to use it in place of my spiralizer.

The working part easily slips into the hub. Make sure to read the instructions. I was nervous about grating my fingers so I unplugged while getting it set up. I've used it for carrot, cheese, and sweet potato and it's worked really well for all three. I like that the clear plastic lets me see what's happening inside. The blades are metal with plastic housing and are very sharp.

I was hoping it would take the place of my spiralizer and while it's not exactly the same, it's so much more convenient and gives me a similar enough product that I'm going to put away my spiralizer and use just this for awhile to see if I can just do it this way. It's so much easier to just use my mixer and the pieces are easy to wash.

I chose this one over the other options because it comes with more blades and I'm glad I did! My kids like the waffle cuts!

I had been looking at these for a long time and finally ordered a set of graters for my KitchenAid mixer. Installation was simple as grater styles simply snap in and out quickly. The grater itself is stainless steel but rests in a plastic frame. The majority of pieces are clear so I can easily see what��s going on especially when specific items got stuck. There is a slit in the plastic piece used to push down the food into the grater and in this particular instance I was grating sweetened coconut into fine pieces to put in and cover a coconut cake, The coconut being very moist very easily got stuck in that slit and several times I had to stop the grating to clear the slit of coconut that had gotten stuffed in there. Also, perhaps it was just the light weightiness of the grated coconut but as it fell out of the grating drum it literally went everywhere. I tried several ways/containers of catching it as well as different mixer speeds but still went everywhere. It was snowing coconut in my kitchen that day. Other items such as carrots, pistachios, and hard cheeses didn��t give me as many problems.
I like that it comes with interchangeable attachments, like having 5 shredding tools in one. This shredder attachment also includes a toothbrush looking utensil for hand cleaning, getting into the small spaces. Despite my coconut escapade, overall, I am pleased.
