This lens cap is a very nice. Solid aluminum construction with a powder coating type of texture that adds to the grip, and a central groove in the middle of its thickness for added grip. It has a nice felt lining (or what feels like it, but is EVA) inside the interior of the lens cap so it doesn't scratch nor mar your camera/lens, and fits nicely on the GRIII. That said, given its internal diameter of roughly 56mm, you can also use it for any other lens where the extremity is around 56mm (no bigger). The little GR marking on the lens cap is also done pretty tastefully. Overall, a really nice lens cap.
Do be careful to remove the lens cap before turning on the camera to avoid potential damage to the motors.
With regards with the extras included, I can't speak much of the lens cap holder as I hate those things, but they should be decent. The surface of the lens cap should adhere pretty well to the adhesive but I did not try it personally. The two hot shoe covers are actually pretty great quality, well trimmed too, and is a nice addition for sure. The lens cloth is also pretty good. I don't know that these extras are really necessary but they're a nice touch I guess, though I wonder if it would be able to buy this lens cap alone for cheaper without those said extras, which particularly to the Ricoh GR, none of the extras are really all that useful.
