Simple to setup, well built, well finished but missing some basic parts
Extremely quick and simple to setup in under 8 minutes. The parts are light but strong and was easily able to support my weight ontop. The finish/paint is thick and shows no sign of wear and the extendable arms would make any setup simple to customize for just about any size of heat pump. (once I get it installed properly). Otherwise I was a bit surprised that for the cost there are no instructions, no metal screws to lock the arms in spot (they did provide holes so it is the intent) or any cross mounting brackets for the heat pump feet. While the quality is definitely high and well made; missing basic components can waste alot of time and money. So be prepared to grab this from your local store or order a kit ahead of time. Glad I opened mine for an alternative project or I would have wasted an afternoon. So for a premium price the stand is great but looses a star for not providing basic needed components.

    The continuous legs and lack of visible bolts gives this a clean appearance.
    It has a wide range of adjustment in both length and width.
    You will need your own stainless steel screws to lock the aluminum box sections in place, and likewise fasteners to attach your heat pump.
    Extra stainless or aluminum brackets will be needed if you wish to bolt it down to a concrete base.

    This is a Toughstand Aluminum Adjustable Heat Pump Snow Stand 24"~38"X24"~38"X17". It stands at 17" high but is adjustable from 24" to 38" wide and 24" to 38" deep. The pieces fit together well and slide easily but they fairly tight so they make a nice sturdy frame. They are free floating and don't bolt together. The heat pump that is bolted to it holds the frame at its fixed size. The frame is painted grey and it protects the aluminum from oxidization so it looks nice. If it was raw aluminum, it would still look nice.

    There are heavy plastic feet on the bottom of the legs that have holes that allow the legs to be staked to the ground so the frame doesn't move around and provides a good solid base for any heat pump that is fastened to it.

    This is a nice frame that fits most anything that you want to sit on top of it.

    When assembling, put two halves together and then make a final join by sliding into each other. My set came without fasteners nor instructions but, nevertheless, it was easy to assemble. The resulting stand is quite sturdy and can be made sturdier by adding sheet metal screws to hold the adjusted size chosen by the user.

    I tested this stand with a 24x24 concrete patio stone that probably weighs around 50 lbs plus a generator that weighs around 250 lbs. For further testing purposes to see what impact vibrations would have, I ran the generator for a half hour and was pleasantly surprised to note that I could not see any vibrations or movement in the stand.

    This is one sturdy and strong stand.

    Its dimensions can be adjusted from 24" to 38" in width and depth, with a height of 17", providing excellent protection from snow and ice for my equipment. The use of aluminum guarantees great thermal conductivity, effectively dispersing heat even in extremely cold conditions. Covered in outdoor polyester powder, it withstands UV rays and aging, staying immune to fading and rusting over time. Although bolts and screws were not provided, putting it together was easy, and it now serves as a dependable barrier against severe weather. This snow stand does more than just provide protection; it's a strong option that improves the lifespan and efficiency of my outdoor gear during the winter months.
