We were a little hesitant on purchasing this item because, there was only one review. So, I feel it’s important for me to ensure customers that this is a great product.
We have a big family including two dogs and three cats. Our dogs were constantly getting into the cat box (gross) and we needed something flattering in our home to hide the boxes from them & in general.
Final product is awesome. It is sturdy and easy for cats to navigate. We kept the top cabinet as a chill spot and the bottom has the box. There’s also enough room on top shelves to have this function as a feeding area. The little scratch pad on bottom shelf works as a litter grabber when they come out of their litter box so bye-bye messy floor. You just have to keep up with vacuuming or banging it out every so often.
Assembly was easy for my man. He built it in about 2 hours, if that. We ran into two issues. The directions mixed up what screws were with which letter, but he figured out what one to use. Another issue was the one board (picture above) came slightly damaged. We didn’t make a fuss because it’s not on the outside where it would be visible & it didn’t affect product from being built. I do see why someone would be upset, but we are very happy still.
Overall, this is perfect because our dogs can no longer get into the cat box, the cats have a little house/safe spot, my floors are cleaner, you can’t visibly see the boxes, and it looks nice in our home. Worth every penny!!

The "pad" is very thin, but I had planned on putting a self heating mat over it anyways so that doesnt bother me.

My kitten LOVES the toys and scratch mat. We did add an additional piece to the top ball.

Overall I think its well worth the money. It is pressed particle board, so you get what you pay for, however its held up great so far.

I highly recommend for anyone.

Really debated returning this item. Ultimately we chose to keep it. Here’s what we liked and didn’t.

Likes:
- Nice design. The double door system helps us provide an area for our cat where our dogs can’t get his dry food without having to buy an additional expensive auto-feeder.
- Color. The griege color looks great and is what we expected.
- Small footprint. It fits nicely in compact spaces.
- Fairly sturdy. Once assembled it is pretty sturdy.
- Our cat loved it. This is probably the biggest reason we kept the product. Our cat was climbing it and all over it before we could even finish assembly. It works well for him!

Dislikes:
- Cheap material quality. We were really disappointed with how cheap the materials are. The edges came already looking worn or scratched. Some corners worn or rounded and others not - so we could tell this wasn’t a product feature. The screws and placement look a little cheap after fully assembled. It just was f the best for the money. But as stated above, once fully assembled, it was sturdy enough we were ok with it.
- Raw edges on wood. There are some spots where there are raw wood edges. The hole into the top closed door space being the most notable. This wood edge was splintering and it was impossible to assemble or be near it without getting a splinter. We didn’t want our cat to get splinters going in and out of this space. We decided to sand the spots and keep the structure.
