Very good camera system. The one downside is that I wish the cables were longer. Depending on your house, the ethernet cable might need to be longer. For instance if I have my system at the front of my house, to hook up a system in the backdoor I'll need at least 100ft of cable. Otherwise they give you everything you need. Honestly more reliable than those cheap wireless ones you can get on amazon!

good so far, easy to install. nice control for the pan and tilt. image is clear. tracking works well but will stop where camera looses sight of person, i.e. behind a car. I like the feature to turn off notifications of vehicles and pets. Think i want to order the optical zoom cameras for future upgrade. hard drive has more than enough space for 24/7 recording, quick review to activities and than a quick format for another week.

Deal alert!!! save almost 200$ on this amazing all in one security system from Reolink

This is a great bundle that features 4x 4k cameras with, 1 hub with 2tb of internal storage space and no monthly fees.. This kit is the perfect solution for covering every corner of you're home insuring 24h security and peace of mind. Although not the most advanced kit Reolink offers it does cover most of the basses for a recommendation. Especially at this price point.

The build:
These cameras feel well built with higher end plastic molds. The clear acrylic dome that houses the camera lens is also well integrated in the design. Each camera features an IR light sensor and small LED modules that light up when motion is detected after sunset. The mounting plates come with all the necessary hardware. They also feel robust with a thicker gage plastic polymer and metallic backing. Each camera is equipped with movement software and tracking capabilities. The bay station is made out of higher en components reminiscent of older DVR such as metal and high grade plastics. There is an internal High speed 2TB Hard disc drive that provides you with 24/7h of local storage space. This drive is expandable to 12TB of disc space.

Things to consider:
1: Canadian weather: These cameras are rated at -17c +40c. So when we look at the harsh winters we experience up north. With winter temperature hovering around -17 on average. Then these units might not be suitable in these conditions. They will still function but my experience damage if subjugated to long periods of extreme cold such as -40c.

image quality:
These cameras offer a good 4k sensor that has an above average dynamic range. Allowing for greater highlight and low light detail retrieval. There are some anti glare coatings on the lenses. Helping to eliminate sun spots and flairs. But you will need to periodically clean your cameras lenses to insure optimal image quality. The IR sensor's range is 20 meters witch seams on par with other models I've tested. The LED modules provide around 200 lumens of brightness allowing for good visibility at night. But can only illuminate a 30 foot cone.

Final thoughts: 4.9 OUT OF 5
This all in one package really offers great features for it's asking price. A home hub with a comprehensive app with storage. To ease of installation and expandability. This might be the right solution for your home security needs. Especially if you're looking to capture a 360 degrees surveillance scenario. Reolink offers many new POE cameras that offer even greater features such as auto zoom and newer colour night video with no lag. To top it off there is no monthly cloud subscription fees. Witch will save you thousand in the long run.

Fantastic! As someone that's had over a dozen different types of WiFi security cameras I'm very impressed with this kit. I'd been looking for a while trying to find something that would meet my needs of an all-in-one security camera system without being too expensive and I think this does a really good job with that while also giving me plenty of options for expansion due to the 4 additional POE ports and wide lineup of Reolink cameras that are said to be compatible.

There are so many good things about these cameras I don't even think I can list them all so I'll just list a few of the ones that come to mind right away:

Advantages:
1. Plug and play. There's really nothing to the setup beyond plugging the cables in and turning on the device. The hardest part is running the cables where you want them. But beyond that it just works right out of the box, it's auto detected in the application and just works right away even with default settings.

2. Multi-platform support. There a full featured app for Windows, Mac iOS and Android. They even have the ability to access your cameras directly from your web browser without needing to install anything! The browser controls are limited and will only support showing medium resolutions for the previews. But I used the Windows and Android apps and they were super easy to use. Just install the application after plugging in the NVR and it came right up. I just needed to enter the password I created and all the cameras loaded right up without problem. Even with the app I was concerned I'd have to create some account somewhere - but no. I installed the Android app, launched it while connected to WiFi and it detected and added the NVR right away. After entering my password I closed the app, turned off WiFi and then used mobile data and the cameras came right up without needing to input anything or logging into some special account. Not to mention that you can also interact directly with the device by hooking up the included mouse and plugging the HDMI into a TV or monitor!

3. Super clear cameras! These really are 4k resolution. I included a screenshot of the preview (not even from the actual saved video file, just the preview that's shown in the app). You can easily make out all the details of everything in the surrounding area even 40 feet away!

4. Software is very intuitive and feature rich. It's very easy to navigate the software and there are TONS of options and settings to explore. I love the fact that nothing is locked behind any sort of paywall, membership or account. I've included some images of a few of the settings pages for cameras to get an idea of some of the controls you've got. Accessing recordings is very easy as well both to preview and to download to your computer.

5. Auto tracking! Wow, it's hard to express just how cool this is. It's detection is amazing just how well it can identify people vs cars and it's ability to auto pan the camera to follow people that trigger the motion sensing works great even if they are trying to outrun it. By default it will follow them until they are no longer visible for a time then will go back to its default position. But you can adjust how it works within the settings and even disable this feature if you don't want it.

6. 18m (59 feet) Power Over Ethernet (PoE) cables are included which I found to be a good enough length for me to get a camera at each corner of the house while keeping the NVR centrally located. No power adapters needed, the cameras all get the power they need right from the network ports they are plugged into in the NVR. I did confirm as well that if this isn't a long enough cable you can easily use a coupler and an additional cable and it doesn't affect the performance. If you're tech savvy and are able to you can also make your own cable. This worked just find as well with my own made Cat 5e cable I tested too! Of course, definitely try to use the included cables as they come with nice weather protection ends that protect the connection from rain.

7. Low power consumption! I got this clocked in at only using 22.5 Watts operating all 4 cameras and recording during daylight hours. Which is honestly pretty amazing - the cost of running this thing 24/7 is negligible. It's about the same power consumption of 2 LED bulbs.

Disadvantages:
1. The wall mounting bracket is a pretty poor design and can easily get you into a situation where once you put the camera up there is no taking it down if you need to replace or move elsewhere. (The included ceiling mount doesn't have this issue)

It's a bit hard to explain but in essence, to detach the ceiling mount disc portion from the L shaped wall-mount, you need to push a button on the top of the wall mount while turning ceiling mount disc the same direction that you would need to turn the camera to detach it from the ceiling mount disc. So you're forever loosening the camera from the disc rather than the disc from the wall mount due to the large amount of friction with trying rotate the ceiling mount disc. And if you pinned the cables under the wall mount like the directions show it makes it actually impossible to remove just the camera first as there isn't enough cable length to allow the required rotations to do so. And of course you can't access the screws to remove the mount either once the camera is on there without a special 90' driver.

I imagine it might be possible to remove with a lot of messing about and using pliers and a screw driver trying to wedge things in there to get the leverage you need.

2. Higher investment price compared to 4 cheap IP cameras. But this is WAY better than you would get with cheaper options. Especially when you consider the benefit of future expansion being possible without needing yet another app for each new camera.

3. While the enhanced night vision is great for distance - everything looks well lit up and petty clear. There is an issue where there is light at night and the camera is too close. For example, I have one at my front door probably about 3 feet away from where people would stand when knocking at the door. If there is a light on outside the door, or the infrared LED is on the camera the faces get blown out as 100% white. No facial details are shown due to this over saturation of light. I tried playing with all the brightness and contracts settings but couldn't get the issue under control. Again, at distance this is fine but close up you really can't see anything in a low light setting when there is additional light being added. During the day this isn't an issue at all, it's only at night - I feel like the camera goes into a low-light mode and I couldn't see a control for it that helped prevent faces just becoming white silhouettes at close range when there was light. The saving grace is that by turning off the infrared and keeping it dark outside I'm able to see details on people approaching the house, which I suspect would be the most common situation - it's expected that a prowler would be around when all the lights are off anyway.

Bottom line, despite the couple draw backs I'm still giving it 5-stars. I'm quite impressed with this kit and I think it would definitely meet the needs of most people. Yes, it's a bit of an investment ($769.99 at the time of review) but I really do think its worth it at this price as I am quite happy with it.

Of course, definitely try to use the included cables as they come with nice weather protection ends that protect the connection from rain.

7. Low power consumption! I got this clocked in at only using 22.5 Watts operating all 4 cameras and recording during daylight hours. Which is honestly pretty amazing - the cost of running this thing 24/7 is negligible. It's about the same power consumption of 2 LED bulbs.

Disadvantages:
1. The wall mounting bracket is a pretty poor design and can easily get you into a situation where once you put the camera up there is no taking it down if you need to replace or move elsewhere. (The included ceiling mount doesn't have this issue)

It's a bit hard to explain but in essence, to detach the ceiling mount disc portion from the L shaped wall-mount, you need to push a button on the top of the wall mount while turning ceiling mount disc the same direction that you would need to turn the camera to detach it from the ceiling mount disc. So you're forever loosening the camera from the disc rather than the disc from the wall mount due to the large amount of friction with trying rotate the ceiling mount disc. And if you pinned the cables under the wall mount like the directions show it makes it actually impossible to remove just the camera first as there isn't enough cable length to allow the required rotations to do so. And of course you can't access the screws to remove the mount either once the camera is on there without a special 90' driver.

I imagine it might be possible to remove with a lot of messing about and using pliers and a screw driver trying to wedge things in there to get the leverage you need.

2. Higher investment price compared to 4 cheap IP cameras. But this is WAY better than you would get with cheaper options. Especially when you consider the benefit of future expansion being possible without needing yet another app for each new camera.

3. While the enhanced night vision is great for distance - everything looks well lit up and petty clear. There is an issue where there is light at night and the camera is too close. For example, I have one at my front door probably about 3 feet away from where people would stand when knocking at the door. If there is a light on outside the door, or the infrared LED is on the camera the faces get blown out as 100% white. No facial details are shown due to this over saturation of light. I tried playing with all the brightness and contracts settings but couldn't get the issue under control. Again, at distance this is fine but close up you really can't see anything in a low light setting when there is additional light being added. During the day this isn't an issue at all, it's only at night - I feel like the camera goes into a low-light mode and I couldn't see a control for it that helped prevent faces just becoming white silhouettes at close range when there was light. The saving grace is that by turning off the infrared and keeping it dark outside I'm able to see details on people approaching the house, which I suspect would be the most common situation - it's expected that a prowler would be around when all the lights are off anyway.

Bottom line, despite the couple draw backs I'm still giving it 5-stars. I'm quite impressed with this kit and I think it would definitely meet the needs of most people. Yes, it's a bit of an investment ($769.99 at the time of review) but I really do think its worth it at this price as I am quite happy with it.

It was quite simple to setup and run the wires along the house, setting up the NVR was quite easy too. Only thing to note is while this camera has a pan and tilt function, they have the SD card slot for the camera on the inside of the black part in the middle of the camera, if you point the camera all the way down you'll see it. It has a rubber cap but when tilting the camera dowm, then trying to tilt it back up the camera doesn't fully go back up anymore this is due to that rubber cap getting caught on the white camera body. The motor is too weak to overcome this so you can either set the up and down tilt manually, and never touch it, or duct tape it down so it won't get caught, and the camera glides over it smooth. Other than that it has decent night vision, everything seems quality, the software is decent. The price is a bit much, but the cameras are good quality so it's understandable.

Decided to hook up my cameras via PoE to my NVR and it worked great. Instantly recognized the cameras without issue. Within a day I had these cameras installed and sending push notifications to my iPhone. The beauty of this system is that I can control the motion settings to only send my notifications when a person/vehicle/animal is detected in the field of view of the camera. The auto tracking AI feature is a game changer. I only need 3 cameras instead of 4 to cover everywhere I wanted. If I had got other cameras that are stationary I would have need more cameras to cover the area.

4k quality 8MB is solid, you can make out faces no problem.

Setup and install was tough for me because I had to crawl in an attic filled with insulation but I did all this because wired cameras are a must have for anyone taking their security seriously. WiFi cameras can be jammed with a simple tool thieves buy online. Trust me on that my car was stolen out of my driveway and none of my cameras caught anything!

Cons- No Zoom. The fix to this is adding on one camera that has a zoom feature. Reolink has them for sale.

For the install to look clean I used a 1” spade bit to drill through the soffit in my house and choose the ceiling mount. The side mount bracket does look cleaner but I’m happy with this. I bought some 1” white circular plugs to hide the wires. See pictures.
