There's a lot of variations for this type of products and while some are made of a more flexible TPU, allowing it to be smooth on the interior, this one feels more like a bendy straw (a tougher one) so it is accordion shaped for most of its length. But it works perfectly fine. The only caveat is that the non-accordion portion is not quite as soft, including the tip, which means that if you do need it to deform more readily to reach your lint, it might not be able to go as far. Depending on your setup it might also not be quite long enough but that is more of a case by case situation.

Overall, it works well as a bendy attachment that can get in tighter spaces.
