Break Chain

Position the “B” on the anvil block aligned with the word “Break” on the tool body. Using a 17mm wrench tighten the body bolt, and then using a 14mm wrench tighten the extractor

bolt until the chain pin completely out the chain.

Install Side Plate

Position the anvil block on the body bolt while the “P” is aligned with the word “Press” on the tool body. Tighten the body bolt until the master link pins are on the proper position.

Rivet Hollow Nose Master Links

Position the “R” on the anvil block is aligned with the word “Rivet” on the tool body, and position the hollow nose rivet tip on the body bolt. Tighten the body bolt to flare the master link pin.

Rivet Solid Nose Master Links

Position the “R” on the anvil block is aligned with the word “Rivet” on the tool body, and position the quad stake rivet tip on the body bolt. Tighten the body bolt until the master link pin is impressed to a proper range.
