Great product, everything is growing well so far. They do seem to swell in size once fully hydrated, so I'd recommend soaking them overnight when possible. I didn't get all the sponges out to count, so I can't confirm whether I got the exact amount as other people complained but the box was jammed full and there was a nice note saying to contact them if any were missing so you could be reimbursed.

    I wasn’t impressed with these. My original aero garden pods grew like CRAZY. I purchased these to change out some herbs and it took many weeks for the seeds to sprout and 3/3 sponges went moldy. It’s been months and my herbs just can’t not get going while the aero garden pods are thriving (last picture is the thriving herbs compared to the replacement sponges). Not a good product.

    Please don’t buy these grow sponges!! I have used the AeroGarden sponges in the past with 100% success with my AeroGarden. I purchased the Pacetap growth sponges and “planted” 6 cells and only had success with 1 plant. There was white fuzzy fungus growing on the sponges and the germinated plants were very delayed. I wondered if I had done something wrong so replanted 6 more cells but ended up with the same disappointing results - fungus, diseased and dead plants. These sponges are a waste of money and time. Unfortunately I lost some rare seeds and ended up sterilizing my AeroGarden twice but still ran into the fungus problem. Since I bought these more than 30 days ago I can’t get my money back, so let me save you time, money and frustration - don’t buy.
