This is the best kid's omega-3 supplement on the market. It's individually sealed (important for polyunsaturated fats, which oxidize quickly - oxidized omega 3 fats are not good for you). It's also healthy (no sugar), tasty, portable and kids love it. It also has several times the Omega-3 fats that you're looking for versus competitors - your only comparable alternative is the liquids or the large capsules that kids won't want. The individual blister packs are a bit tricky for small children to open, but should be fine for anyone who's 5+.
The only issue that you'll experience here is the price. This is an expensive product, and while the concentration of EPA & DHA is great and the process to seal them must be a bit expensive to do, it's steep enough that I wouldn't use it every day. Think of it as something you use a couple of times a week on the go, and then use a cheaper bottle of liquid to make smoothies and add into salad dressings and such.
If you do use the liquid as your 'daily driver' (with these gummies as your travel ones), buy the small bottles (with the longest expiry date possible and from a reputable manufacturer who will quickly purify them cold and then bottle them immediately) unless you'll have multiple people using it every day and keep it closed in the fridge - once open to air it'll oxidize quickly and you REALLY don't want to drink oxidized omega oil, it is not good for you if old, it must be fresh so use the whole bottle within two months in the fridge and don't heat it (just drink it straight or use in a drink or a smoothie or dressing or add a splash to something cold).

We have three kids, a 4 1/2, a 6 and a 7 1/2 year old. The two youngest ones love it, eat it no problem. Even the smallest one learned it quickly how to open it with his finger nails. The oldest one eats it, but doesn't like the texture, so we give it to her with a piece of bread. No problems after that. The other thing, the box does not say, but we keep it in the fridge just to be safe. For the very reasonable price (around $24 for a month supply), and the amount of Omega 3 in it (500 mg), I highly recommend it.
