I shutter to post this but I really couldn’t find my exact problem in reviews and people need to know. I’ve had same clothes since highschool, a collection of vintage tees and hoodies, band t-shirts and workout clothes. But they stink, during my 3 pregnancies I had a real bad sweating problem and they all had just deeply ingrained BO. So all these shirts were unusable, despite trying multiple other scented or cleaning things. I was going to just toss them but I read about this on Reddit. Soaked them in very hot water and 4 scoops of this while I watched the federal election. Here was the water afterwards and I promise it’s not dye, they were all light coloured clothes. 20+ years of god knows what all stripped off them, now they’re out of the dryer with no fading and no smell despite the heat of the dryer. Unreal. Guess I gotta soak everything my family owns now!

    I very rarely write reviews, but I can’t stop sending these photos of the disgusting water to my friends and family after using this stuff. I’ve done the “stripping” method you see on Tiktok in the past and the results were meh. I’ve used super washing soda, borax, and oxy clean but never has anything extracted THIS much from simply a soak! I very much like this brand and have bought their dishwasher, washing machine and coffee machine tablets and they work well. But this..is..insane. In the photos you see my Ikea couch (which is only 1 year old) slipcover that I had previously washed about 4-5 months ago in the washer. The two photos are of it soaking for 20 minutes in warm (not even hot) water and 2 scoops of this magic powder from the cleaning gods. Already you can see the water is scummy and there is grime on the surface of the water. I don’t have any pets, just two boys and myself. Despite the tub-full of satisfying disgustingness I consider us as “clean people”. But that last image of the tub is after soaking the slipcovers for 3 hours with the occasional “smush, squeeze and stir”.

    I really liked that there was so harsh chemical smell while soaking, and altough I used a silicone spoon to stir at times I did also squish a few times with my bare hands and it didn’t burn or irritate my skin (washed them promptly after of course). After the soak, I wrung out everything and washed in a regular load in my washer with 1 scoop of the magic powder (that’s what I’m calling it from now on) along with laundry soap and fabric softner and they came out gorgeous! I use unscented laundry detergent and fabric softner and everything came out just smelling really clean, not of chemicals like when I’ve used the Lysol laundry disinfectant. So, yup, long review, but well worth it for this great product.

    I nearly never write reviews so trust me when I say: this stuff is pure magic. A bottle of veterinary cleaning solution (that oddly enough, had a very strong perfume smell) was spilled on a few articles of clothing. It drove me crazy trying to get the smell out I even soaked everything in vinegar and to no avail. This stuff removed the smell completely and the fabrics feel fresh too! I'll be using this in my next few large loads so all my things get the same treatment and then I will continue using sparingly so I will buy this more in the future. Thank you!

    I was skeptical of this — since getting sick five years ago, my body hasn’t regulated temperature and sweat as well as it used to. I switched to activewear materials for most of my clothes by necessity, and noticed that they would eventually develop a permanent stink in the pits. Vinegar and baking soda and all of the other conventional detergents and solutions did not work. I have thrown so many clothes out over the years because of this.

    Before using this, I soaked a load of laundry with the stench in baking soda and vinegar and water overnight, which did nothing. I then washed them with vinegar alone to eliminate the possibility of soap residue, which also did nothing for the stench. I then stuck them back in the tub with six scoops of this enzyme cleaner and watched in horror as the water slowly turned brown. In the right light I could see the oils it pulled out pooling on top. Some of the clothes were okay after this first soak, some took two more including an overnight soak. But ultimately the scent came out and my fabrics feel better and cleaner than ever. I am a believer! I cannot afford NOT to use this, and intend to continue to use it regularly and strip my clothes with it once in a while for good measure.

    The only downside is that I now have to go through and strip previously “clean” clothes I had already washed and folded — not so terrible though!

    I bought this specifically to tackle underarm odor in my scrubs, and it really worked. I used about 1 1/2 scoop cups in a large bowl just to soak two scrubs. I let it soak for over 2 hours (honestly more like a full day by accident), but when I finally washed and dried them, the smell was completely gone. It actually surprised me because I had tried a few other things before that didn’t work. This might become my go-to from now on for soaking before laundry. A little really does go a long way.

    What else should I say? Detergent removes dirt. Certain biological are resistant to detergent (if you know what I’m talking about then I don’t need to explain; if you don’t know what I’m talking about then what I’m talking about doesn’t matter). This product has worked very well for me, whether it’s stain or odors that I am addressing, this product gets at sources that a surfactant can’t contend with. Laundress (TM) was an early adopter. Enzymatic cleansers are revolutionary products (in my opinion), and this one is my current go-to.
