To replace the 2x AAA batteries, slide open the battery cover on the back of the oximeter, remove old batteries, and insert new ones with the correct polarity (+/–). Close the cover securely before use.

Open the oximeter clip, insert your finger (nail side up) into the padded slot, and keep it still until the display shows your oxygen and pulse readings.

Turning on and Using the Oximeter

To turn on the oximeter, press the power button until the screen lights up. Open the clip and insert your finger nail side up into the chamber. After a few seconds, the display will show your oxygen saturation (SpO₂) as a percentage and your pulse rate in beats per minute.

How do I place my finger correctly in the oximeter?

Insert your finger nail side up into the clip until it fits snugly, then hold still for an accurate reading.
How long does it take to get results?

Most oximeters display your SpO₂ and pulse rate within 5–10 seconds.
Can I use nail polish or artificial nails with an oximeter?

No, nail polish and artificial nails can block the light sensor and affect accuracy. Use a bare finger.
Which finger should I use for best accuracy?

The index or middle finger usually provides the most reliable results.
Does Blue Echo Care have an approved medical device license to sell oximeters in Canada?
