With PCIe 3.0 x8 bandwidth and 2× Mini-SAS HD (SFF-8643) internal ports, you can directly connect up to 8 SATA/SAS drives using the included 2× SFF-8643 to 4× SATA breakout cables (8 SATA ends total). Need more? Scale out seamlessly through an external SAS Expander to build large ZFS or JBOD arrays for NAS and homelab.

  • Shipped in HBA IT Mode for pass-through (no RAID logic), it’s ideal for ZFS, FreeNAS/TrueNAS, unRAID, Proxmox, and ESXi workflows that expect disks to be exposed natively. Backward-compatible with 6Gb/s and 3Gb/s devices, supporting common 3.5"/2.5" HDDs and SSDs.
