It is simple to set up and 'almost' worked right out of the box. After I plugged everything in and started and set up the channels, (by the way the channel number should be in the bottom compartment not on the back where it isn't always easy to see while mounted) I was able to connect to the bridge, but I couldn't connect to the internet. After much troubleshooting, I finally just unplugged the slave's plug-in POE adapter, (2 are included in the box as well as 2 short cat 5 ethernet cords) waited 20 seconds and plugged it right back into the wall outlet. Almost immediately the slave antenna picked up the master's signal again, without any help, as well as my computer was able to access the internet after a couple minutes.
I started with my computer plugged directly into the slave's LAN side of the included POE wall plug adapter, and once I had access to internet I connected a router to that LAN plug. The router figured itself out and I can connect to it's wifi as well as plug into it for ethernet.
The master is located in an attic and I still have full bars at the slave through some tree branches. Almost no noticeable internet speed loss encountered.
