Safety Information

15-20 mcg (600-800 IU) of vitamin D per day is adequate for most individuals. Consult a health care practitioner to determine if you would benefit from additional vitamin D before taking this product. Do not use this product if you have hypercalcemia and/or hypercalciuria. Consult a health care practitioner prior to use if you: are pregnant or breastfeeding; have a kidney disorder; take other vitamin D supplements, multivitamin supplements containing vitamin D, or products containing vitamin D analogues; take any prescription medications including antacids, anticonvulsants, digoxin, cholestyramine, colestipol, mineral oil, steroids, statins or thiazide diuretics.

Ingredients

Each Softgel Contains Vitamin D3 (Cholecalciferol) 62.5 mcg/2,500 IU Medium chain triglycerides, gelatin (bovine), glycerin. NON-GMO. NO starch, gluten, lactose, artificial colours, flavours or preservatives.

Directions

Adults: Take 1 softgel daily. To be taken with an adequate intake of calcium. Consult a health care practitioner for use beyond 6 months.

According to Canada Health a product can not be double labeled. Is not safety to be used as we do not know what exactly it is. Also the bottle contains 100 soft gels pills.

    I like these vitamin D soft gels since they are so easy to swallow and have no taste. I just had foot surgery and the Doctor prescribed these type of Vitamin D soft gels for 2 months. I had gotten away from taking Vitamin D through the winters but when he told me Vitamin D3 and also C are very important for bone health and healing, I decided to continue on with both Vitamins. I ordered the Jamieson C capsules also and both are excent value for the amount of pills you get and it's nice that they come right to your door the next day!! Will keep ordering from now on.
