- Reviewed in Canada on July 23, 2024Verified PurchaseMy GP has been on at me to get one of these for years. After becoming disabled and legally blind, I put on weight and now have hypertension. Got this today and was a breeze to set up and use. Cuff is nice and large. Even for my fat arms.
I love the App with my Mac and iPad/iPhone etc, can see it in nice large print. I am sure the screen is great but far too small for my old eyes to read so I am glad for the app. Setup was easy, using it is easy.
Do make sure you do a bit of research on how to accurately use a BP monitor if your doctor did not tell you how. The whole set up for it and then the taking of 3 reading 5-15 mins apart then doing an average will be what your Doc should tell you to be doing.
Would definitely recommend this.
- Reviewed in Canada on April 24, 2024Verified PurchaseI love everything about it, except that at first it was hard to pair with my phone/ iPad. I never knew if it was supposed to be done every single time I took a reading. Sometimes pairing worked…sometimes it didn’t although my phone was right next to it, within range. I’ve entered some data manually, as a result. There ‘s a space for notes after each reading and I appreciate that. I can write down the conditions or factors which might have influenced each individual reading. Aside from initial pairing issues (due to the fact that I did not, ant first, understand how to use )… the device itself is great.
* Edited April 27. For pairing it seems you need the cuff on your arm and ON . Phone/ tablet near by, with App opened and on the App. . Have it on the DASHBOARD page and that should do it. You will see ‘ connected’ in blue, at the top left corner.
- Reviewed in Canada on November 19, 2024Verified PurchaseThis BP cuff is terrific. It’s accurate and paired easily with my iPad. The readings downloaded easily. The only thing I had a problem with is remembering to turn off my Bluetooth hearing aids. My hearingaids also pair with my iPad. By turning off my aids the BP cuff connected. The blood pressure cuff also stores the last 50 readings. The cuff itself does not pinch when it inflates. There isn’t a long tube so the cuff is easily stored. A good purchase.
- Reviewed in Canada on July 21, 2024Verified PurchaseThis little device has provided daily updates to help me and my doctor monitor my blood pressure. Newly diagnosed and having rather scary symptoms other than raised BP. This is handy, being portable and easy to use. I wish it came with optional extra, extra large cuffs though. The device has an option to be used for multiple people, but the cuff is only a size “lady” and not for a male.
- Reviewed in Canada on November 19, 2024Verified PurchaseI could not be happier with the Checkme, blood pressure monitor. Right out of the box it was fully charged and within a few minutes I had downloaded the app and taking my first blood pressure test. The results are immediately transferred to the app and/or stay on the machine itself, giving me an accurate history of my blood pressure that I can share with my doctor. I highly recommend this monitor.

- Reviewed in Canada on February 28, 2024Verified PurchaseAfter looking at many other similar products I was surprised at the enthusiasm expressed in the reviews for this product. Now I understand. It really is a great device.
It looks great. It's compact and well designed. It's beautifully packaged. It's functionality is intuitive and it's extremely easy to use.
The associated app is also very good, and for my use, the free version is more than adequate. The communication between the device and the app couldn't be easier. You really just have to have them both open, and they instantly synchronize.
This unit is a joy. There are few times when you find a product that just appears to work perfectly, but this is one of them.

- Reviewed in Canada on June 15, 2025Verified PurchaseThis review is long overdue. I’ve been using this blood pressure monitor for about a year, both at home and on business trips. I bought it new and really wanted it to work. I always followed the instructions carefully, sitting calmly, arm rested at heart level, no movement or talking, and the sensor lined up exactly where it’s supposed to be, not near the joint, but over the artery on my upper arm. But even with all that, the readings have been all over the place. Just to give an example, here are four measurements I took back-to-back today, without moving:
132/70
119/84
112/79
115/75
That’s a 17 point difference in systolic and 14 points in diastolic, all within a few minutes, sitting perfectly still. And this isn’t a one-time thing. It’s been like this from the beginning. Every time I use it, I end up taking multiple readings, trying to average them out, and still walking away unsure if I can trust the numbers.
Honestly, like a lot of people, I just kept using it because it technically “worked.” It turned on, gave me results, and I didn’t want to go through the hassle of replacing it. I’d forget how frustrating it was until the next time I used it and found myself second-guessing the results again. You kind of get used to the inconsistency, until you realize that’s not okay when it comes to something like blood pressure. If you're just curious about your numbers, maybe this is passable. But if you're trying to keep an eye on your health, track trends, or report anything to your doctor, I really wouldn’t rely on it.
I'm finally replacing it with an Omron, one that’s clinically validated. I should have done it a long time ago. If accuracy matters to you, skip the CheckMe and get something you can count on.

5.0 out of 5 stars I like kitties!
Verified PurchaseI had some issues setting it up but that was really my fault. I couldn’t find the quick guide and was unable to load the app until the next day. After setup, the app doesn’t automatically upload today’s new readings. I couldn’t find the quick guide and was unable to load the app until the next day data from the device, I’ll have to figure that out but otherwise so far, so good. I have a wrist BP monitor but I questioned it’s accuracy because the readings were not in line with what the doctors were getting.
After several readings I find it’s readings right in the range of what the doctors were showing when they took my blood pressure. Simple to use after setup.

5.0 out of 5 stars Exceptional Monitoring!
Verified PurchaseI was looking to replace my blood pressure cuff I had for years. The new cuff needed to be easy to use and of most importance, the cuff needs to be accurate. The Checkme BP2A Blood Pressure Monitor not only checked all the boxes, but it was easier than expected to use. Downloading and pairing the app on an iPhone could not have been easier. A simple press of a button the cuff starts the check and syncs the results to the app seamlessly. I can now track my results on a daily, weekly, monthly or yearly basis. The Checkme BP2A Blood Pressure Monitor is incredibly portable and can be used at home, in the car, on the road, and basically anywhere you go and need to check on your blood pressure.

5.0 out of 5 stars Not going back to my old BP monitor!
Verified PurchaseLove this! So easy to use. Connects to my phone to track history. So much easier than lugging out my old plug in version. Have used it many times and haven’t need to recharge yet. I have a medium sized arm and there’s plenty of room to go bigger or smaller on the cuff for different people. I measured side by side for a while with my old BP monitor and the readings were very similar so I feel confident that this is doing the job accurately. This makes it easier for me to consistently and regularly check my BP since it’s easy to turn and go. And you can download history from the app which I sent to my doctor. All this made the price well worth it for me.
- levinel_onlineReviewed in the United States on March 27, 2024
4.0 out of 5 stars Compact and precise - but be careful with an online account because of potential data loss.
Verified PurchaseUPDATED 5/19
The Checkme BP2A seems identical to the Wellue Armfit BP2A product - both are made by Viatom. My previous Viatom app-controlled blood pressure device was the Wellue AirBP2 squeeze-bulb model, which had exceptionally high readings. But my current unit is within 10 mm Hg of the clinic devices, and is reasonably precise - successive readings do not vary much.
The app may be intially frustrating, but that's to be expected until you become familiar with it. However, there IS one potentially serious pitfall. Based on my experience over several months, here are some pointers to avoid data loss, limit frustration, and get the most from your unit:
1. IF YOU DELETE AN ONLINE ACCOUNT, YOUR APP GETS RESET, TOO.
I discovered this early on, but I had a backup, and was able to manually re-enter all the deleted entries.
2. YOU DON'T NEED AN ONLINE ACCOUNT - You can start and stay in Guest Mode.
- Advantage of Online - Your data will still be there if your phone gets reset or if you switch phones.
- Disadvantage - You can't ever switch back to Guest Mode. If you log-out of your account, your phone data zeros-out until you log back in. (However, if logged-in, the unit may still function normally if the Internet connection drops.) After trying it - and I'm stuck there now - I can see that the online method offers no additional service besides data storage.
3. USE THE APP TO PRINT REPORTS
- The PDF export report shows some detail not available in the in-app on-screen reports. For instance, it will show scatter for the selected time period. You can also export to CSV format, which can be imported to a spread-sheet for viewing or for further analysis.
- The "Favorites" flag allows you to mark a subset for export - e.g., first readings taken upon arising.
4. BACK UP REGULARLY and especially before updating the app - even if you are using the online mode.
USEFUL FEATURES
- Compact integrated unit - no tube or cable. The disadvantage is that the cuff cannot be replaced.
- Decent precision - Successive readings can be very close.
- Cuff fits a wide range of arm sizes, though the extra length may initially seem awkward on smaller arms. For many people, wrapping and positioning the cuff by yourself will take practice, but will soon become easy.
- Manufacturer claims that the unit can be used several hundred times on a single charge. However, it can quickly become depleted if the unit turns on accidentally. This may happen with the optional carry case, which apparently fits too snugly.
APP FUNCTIONS THAT NEED IMPROVEMENT
- The line chart of daily readings only shows the day averages, but it should also show scatter. Another Viatom app does that, but it won't recognize this model.
- The PDF reports should be viewable within the app - the other Viatom app can do that.
- NO ABILITY TO RESTORE DATA FROM A MANUAL BACKUP!
