This white one battery seems have more electricity than the original blue one that comes with gopro package although they are identical(1720mAh) I actually tested white one with my gopro 10. It lasts a bit longer with normal use. The standby time is better than the blue one. For standby time, the white one dropped from 100% to 97% within a week while ble one dropped from 100% to 89%. The reason for this could be that the blue one has been used for a while. But anyway, now i have 3 white ones for my backup use. I dont need to worry about looking for changing station while i am filming outdoor.

    I always had issues with the blue batteries that came with the GoPro, in the cold. I was always having to keep them warm, otherwise I would only get a couple minutes before the camera would shut down. I haven’t had any issues with these batteries in the winter. I would highly recommend for use in the cold.

    This battery lasts much longer than the standard battery and works better in the cold (i.e. when skiing). It lasts longer in my underwater housing so I typically don’t have to change batteries during a scuba diving day. Prefer it to the regular battery and worth the money in my book.

    Hi friends! Don’t try and be like me and be tempted to rip out that plastic piece at the top of the battery. THAT is necessary to remove the battery from the GoPro haha! After trying really hard, and it not coming out, I googled and found out that it was supposed to be there. Didn’t see a warning anywhere, so would be sweet if GoPro started putting a sticker or something on it. I assume it has happened lots as usually you have to remove those things.
    Other than that, fast shipping, great packaging, and no damage. Losing out on one star, because welp I find it rather expensive for one battery.

    Yep it's a lot of money, but we've all tried the knock off batteries- enough said. I invested in two new batteries for my last trip so 3 total of GP name brand. Zero regrets for this investment.
