Good friends have a handmade Amish set and they preferred the mallets that I purchased versus their handcrafted one. The bad... The balls are cheap and don't last. After approximately 15 rounds, something came loose inside of half of the balls and they now sound like a rattle and don't roll true. Good set for the money but the croquet balls need improvement.
