PLAY

Great to play: Impact LX Mini features our expressive velocity-sensitive mini-keybed. A choice of 4 velocity curves allows you to adjust the keyboard response to your playing style. Additional expression control comes courtesy of the 4-way Joystick for pitch bend and modulation as well as a footswitch connector.

PERFORM

Get inspired: LX Mini includes a host of creative performance features. Two independent Arpeggiators, one for the keys and one for the pads. Their settings are available on the 8 knobs for instant access.

Part 2 Feature: Press one of the dedicated "Part 2” buttons for momentary note transpose, layering or MIDI channel switching. A fun performance feature!

Part 2 is assignable to Octave, MIDI Channel, Transpose, Layer or a combination of these features.

GROOVE

Create Beats: Impact LX Mini's 8 velocity-sensitive LED pads make it is easy to create expressive grooves and beats. They offer a hyper-sensitive and even response, ideal for finger-drumming. Assignments are done in seconds and can be stored in 4 pad maps for a total of 32 note assignments.

NEKTAR DAW INTEGRATION

Control your DAW: Impact LX Mini works with any MIDI music software right out of the box. But if you install the included NEKTAR DAW Integration software, you can control up to 21 DAW functions from LX Mini's transport buttons: Control extended DAW transport functions (including locators), navigate and select tracks, open DAW windows and more.

Nektar DAW Integration for LX MINI currently supports: Ableton Live, Bitwig, Cakewalk, Cubase, Digital Performer, Garageband, Logic, Nuendo, Digital Performer, FL Studio, Reaper, Reason and Studio One. (Nektar DAW Integration software available as download upon registration in your Nektar user account.)

TWEAK INSTRUMENT PLUGINS

Use software instruments like a hardware synth: Press "Instrument" mode and tweak virtual instruments directly from the hardware's 8 knobs. With DAW integration, the page button gives you access to 2 x 8 assignable functions. Many internal plugins are pre-mapped, and creating your own maps for 3rd party plugins is done in seconds. Without DAW Integration, you can use Instrument mode for the DAW's MIDI learn function.

BITWIG 8-TRACK DAW INCLUDED

Produce and perform like a pro with the included Bitwig 8-Track DAW. It comes with over 50 software instruments and effects for use on up to 8 audio or MIDI project tracks (if you own 3rd party VST plug-ins, you can use those, too). The also included ‘Bitwig Essentials Package’ featuring a handpicked selection of highly versatile loops, clips and samples will get you going right away. Even better, Nektar DAW Integration will let you control transport and navigate tracks directly from LX Mini.
