The NH-L9i-17xx is the latest revision of Noctuas award-winning NH-L9i low-profile CPU cooler for Intel LGA1700 or LGA1851 based HTPCs and Small Form Factor (SFF) systems. At a height of only 37mm, the NH-L9i is ideal for extremely slim cases, and due to its small footprint, it provides 100% RAM and PCIe compatibility as well as easy access to near-socket connectors even on tightly packed mini-ITX motherboards. The custom-designed SecuFirm2 mounting system for the LGA1700 and LGA1851 sockets makes installation a breeze, and thanks to the highly optimised NF-A9x14 92mm fan that supports fully automatic speed control via PWM, the NH-L9i-17xx runs remarkably quietly. Topped off with Noctuas renowned NT-H1 thermal compound, the NH-L9i-17xx combines everything users have come to expect from Noctuas larger coolers into a super-compact, premium-quality package for mini-ITX and HTPC builds with Intel LGA1700 or LGA1851 CPUs.

NH-L9i Height

37mm low profile

Due to the slim 23mm heatsink and the NF-A9x14 low profile fan that measures only 14mm in thickness, the NH-L9 stands a mere 37mm tall, which makes it ideal for use in compact HTPCs or Small Form Factor cases that offer minimum clearance for CPU coolers.

NH-L9i RAM

100% RAM compatibility

The NH-L9i has a 95x95mm footprint that complies exactly with the Intel LGA1700/LGA1851 socket keep-out zone. This means that it won't cause issues with VRM heatsinks and doesn't overhang the RAM slots, so it's fully compatible with tall memory modules.

NH-L9i PCIe

100% compatibility with PCIe cards on mini-ITX

Some mini-ITX motherboards have the PCIe slot sitting close to the 95x95mm socket zone. While larger coolers that exceed this zone are likely to block the PCIe slot, the 95x95mm sized NH-L9i provides full compatibility with PCIe cards.

The highly optimised NF-A9x14 premium fan features Noctua's proprietary AAO frame as well as sophisticated aerodynamic design measures. Supporting PWM for fully automatic speed control, the NF-A9x14 allows the NH-L9i to stay remarkably quiet.

    This is currently keeping an i5-12400 icy cold, along with a foam gasket so that incoming air is force to come in through the outside of the case only. The air pushed through the sides of the heatsink are directed at the PCI cards and also help keep a hot Mellanox 28Gbit card a bit cooler.

    Silent. But that's expected with the name Noctua.

    I purchased this cpu fan one year ago and it worked great until a few weeks ago - there was noise and the fan would slow down to a crawl; I suspected a bearing issue or something.

    I contacted Noctua customer support (email) and was surprised to get a reply back the next day (Motherboard, RAM, and other computer vendors can learn from it).

    Noctua mailed me a replacement fan like the same day (I got it within about 5 days). Installed it and it's working great.

    I did not have to send the failed fan back - only a picture of the fan with some broken blades.

    Noctua not only makes great products but they also stand behind their products in an effective sort of way.

    Highly recommend the product and Noctua in general.

    Dise?o y Construccin

    El NH-L9i-17xx est dise?ado especficamente para sistemas compactos que utilizan procesadores Intel de la serie 1700. Su dise?o de bajo perfil (apenas 37 mm de altura) es perfecto para gabinetes mini-ITX o de formato reducido. El acabado es impecable, con las clsicas aspas de ventilador color marrn y beige de Noctua, que siempre transmiten durabilidad y calidad.

    Rendimiento Trmico

    Para un disipador tan compacto, su capacidad de enfriamiento es impresionante. He utilizado este disipador con un Intel Core i5 en un sistema ITX, y las temperaturas se mantuvieron estables incluso bajo cargas moderadas. No es para overclocking ni CPUs de alto TDP, pero cumple perfectamente con procesadores de gama media o configuraciones eficientes en energa.

    Nivel de Ruido

    El ventilador NF-A9x14 PWM es extremadamente silencioso, incluso a velocidades altas. Apenas se escucha durante el uso diario, lo que lo hace ideal para entornos de trabajo o gaming donde el ruido debe ser mnimo.
