  • 250g finely chopped white chocolate
  • 1/8 tsp citric acid
  • 1 tsp lemon emulsion
  • 3 tbsp room temperature unsalted better
  • 3 tbsp heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup yellow sanding sugar
  • 1/8 tsp vanilla sugar

How To Make

Lemon Truffle with Citric Acid

Ingredients on the right

  • Microwave white chocolate for 15 seconds and stir, repeat until chocolate melts.
  • Add warm cream and butter to white chocolate and stir until smooth runny ganache is formed.
  • Then add lemon emulsion and stir to the mixture.
  • Let the chocolate mixture to cool then spoon around 20 rounds onto parchment sheets.
  • Leave the rounds overnight and roll each into truffle ball.
  • Mix yellow sanding sugar with vanilla sugar and citric acid to make the coating.
  • Roll each lemon truffle ball in the sanding sugar coating and transfer to serving tray.

    I thought it would be stronger. I tried it on my humidifer that was mostly why i bought it. I did not remove much if any build up from reg water even let it sit for couple days but worked on my base of humidifer. My machine was not cleaned on a reg basis [yrs of build up] disappointed on that. however it did work on my brita tap filter, cleaned it up pretty well HAPPY. Have not used it on fruit/vegies yet so can't say about flaver. Haven't tried it in my kettle yet, will see if it matches to vinegar cleaning. Price wise was disappointed when it went up from $13 **to $14 & change. Hope to see the price drop, then would buy bigger amount to use more offten. Unfortunatly it was late due to holidays but they did remove some taxes & re-emburse it to my account so congrates to them for that, that was a nice supprise.Thankyou.

I haven't used the official package, but it did a great job in removing mineral deposits left behind in a Zojirushi hot water heater and also a stainless steel kettle. I measure 50g and follow the cleaning instructions provided by the manufacturer.
