How to use Sika Mix & Go?

1. Add Water

Remove the cap and add 20cl of clean water (the equivalent of a glass of water), then close.

2. Mix

Shake for about 3 to 4 minutes. The mortar is ready when a homogeneous paste is obtained.

3. Open

Open the bag following the dotted lines.

4. Apply

Before application, clean the surface with a brush and moisten it with clean water. Then apply the mortar with the spatula. Press down and smooth.

Sika Mix&Go is a high quality repair mortar easy to mix, designed for domestic / small scale repair patch works to repair concrete, masonry and blockwork where localised defects or damage need to be patched. Technical information: Application Temperature: 5°C (41°F) min. / 30°C (86 °F) max. Pot Life: at 20°C (68 °F). Maximum 25 minutes after mixing - after this time do not try to remix with water. At lower temperatures, pot life is longer and it is shorter at higher temperatures. The substrate must be clean, sound and free of all paints, loose and friable debris, cement laitance, oil and grease and material which would prevent or reduce bond. Sika Mix&Go can be applied with the spatula or with a traditional trowel. Place the repair mortar with the spatula, pressing it well into the prepared and pre-wetted substrate. Finishing can be carried out with a stiff sponge (slightly wetted) or with a polystyrene board, as soon as the mortar has started to ‘‘stiffen’’.

I used this product to patch my garage floor which was damaged due to saline water from the melted snow that arrived along with the tires of my vehicle. I will added pictures of the patch later. hopefully it will sustain the upcoming winter.
