I purchased the CASOMAN 13 Pieces Impact Bolt & Nut Remover Set hoping for a reliable solution for stubborn, rusted, and rounded nuts and bolts. Overall, it did manage to remove the stuck nuts, which is its primary function, earning it a passable 3-star rating.
When faced with a few extremely tight and partially stripped lug nuts on my old car, this set was a lifesaver. It bit down effectively and with the help of an impact wrench, the nuts finally broke free. The variety of sizes in the set is also a plus, covering a good range of common fastener dimensions.
However, my main concern lies with the durability. After only a few uses on those tough nuts, I noticed that one of the sockets showed significant stripping on the inside flutes. This suggests that while it works, it might not withstand repeated heavy-duty use. It feels like you'll only get a handful of uses out of the most frequently used sizes before they start to fail. This is disappointing, as I expected a bit more longevity from an "impact" rated tool.
