This is my first real speaker purchase and I am pretty happy with the outcome! It was on sale for 100$ instead of 140$ when I bought it, but after using it I would definitely pay full price, and have recommended the brand and this exact speaker to numerous people at work.

I ordered this for use at work, inside a production factory with constant noise so I needed something fairly loud. I had seen a few other people with W-King speakers so I decided to try this first. Before this I was using a Sylvania speaker I got for 20$ at the pawn shop which just wasn��t covering it.

It claims to have 40 hours of battery life, and that may be true at lower volume levels, but I quickly learned to be more careful when using max volume and leaving the bass on. Although I would leave it charging the whole shift with the supplied charger, it would still end up nearly dead by the end. I work 12 hour shifts with four 20 minute breaks which I turned it off for, I��d estimate 10 hours run time each shift.

What I didn��t realize was that the battery was draining faster than it was charging so I unfortunately damaged the battery and now when it gets down to a low percentage the battery gets confused on its charge and will say full, but then the audio gets muffled and there��s some static. On the bright side I learned that if you purchase a USB C wall block, and USB C to USB C charger it will charge faster than it drains, even with full volume and bass boosted, so now I can use it non stop with no issues.

I posted a quick video comparing the size with a Nintendo switch, and for those wondering, the speaker weighs right around 6 lbs on the dot, while a switch weighs only 14 ounces. It is still incredibly portable though in my opinion, and the handle feels pretty sturdy so I have faith it won��t break off from regular use. Side note: when you look around the handle it looks like it should slide down closer to the speaker because there are slots the same size, but the handle doesn��t move, and there was no cracking or snapping sounds when I was trying, although I didn��t try incredibly hard because I realized my mistake and stopped fairly quickly.

The rubber feet on the bottom are definitely a great touch, although while at work and with it on a flat metal surface and listening to bassy music it has moved itself enough to nearly fall off my work station a few times, along with another time I had it in a different position on a shelf, and when I wasn��t paying enough attention it fell approximately 6.5-7 feet and landed straight on the front grill, I turned it off, gave it an inspection and a shake to see if I heard any loose parts but it seems to work exactly the same a few weeks after the fall.

I was also incredibly pleased with how fast it connects to the last device it was using, and I��m sure if my phone auto played when it connected it would be less than 2 seconds from releasing the power button to hearing audio.

The built in power bank is another great feature that I��ve used a few times, and it works while the speaker is charging aswell, and even then it barely drained faster than it charged so that was a nice surprise.

I��ve now been using it for around 3 months and I have nothing else I could really complain about. I��ve put it in my backpack and took my skateboard through town, and down Main Street and could still clearly hear my music over all the traffic without it being max volume.

Overall I give this product an 8/10 and I plan on trying another model in the future, and will continue to recommend it to others!

Well I can easily sum my thoughts and opinions about this W-KING Bluetooth speaker one sentence and that is, This is easily the best $100.00 and change that I've spent on anything in a very long time hands down and the fact that I was able to get such an amazing prize discount due to the discount coupons that were available at the time I made this purchase just sweetened the deal even more so which I'm still in disbelief about that sort of thing just NEVER HAPPENS for me not that the original asking price wasn't already a great deal but who doesn't like to save money right but that absolute best part of the entire purchase was the second I heard sound coming out of this F&@#ing little piece of engineering wizardry pardon my french there but I'm unable to provide an accurate sincere description of the enormous amount of very high quality sound that emanates out of such a seemingly impossiblly small speaker it's almost as if my eyes are having trouble believing what my ears are hearing but admittedly I'd never incountered any Bluetooth speakers either of my own or someone else's with a wattage level much beyond 15 maybe 20 watts and I'm definitely not in the tax bracket to go out and buy a Bluetooth speaker with such names , as Bose, harmen karden, even higher end Sony Bluetooth speakers can break the $300-$400 price ceiling without breaking a sweat don't get me wrong I love my music and appreciate high end audio devices just as much as the next guy but I also love eating food and having gas in the tank of my car just a little bit more lol well now I've got all 3 because with 60 watts of power and one giant powerhouse of a rechargeable built-in battery pack to keep all 60 watts pounding on till the break of dawn this W-King speaker is everything you'd expect from anyone of the brand name Bluetooth speakers I've already mentioned only at about 1/4 of the price and that's being modest on pricing breakdown I've seen JBL speakers priced well above $650 in my opinion you pay that much for a Portable speaker all your buying is something you're gonna spend entire time you take it anywhere but your home babysitting it because lets get serious right time right opportunity that sucker is gonna sprout legs and walk away and quickly I might add not saying I'd be the one helping it quickly walk away but stuff happens everyday so why Put yourself through all that when for less then $150.00 CDN you get A king To Rock out with and the best part is it's totally WATERPROOF that's right waterproof and portable as a lunch box and not much heavier which brings me back To WHERE THE HECK DOES ALL THAT SOUND COME FROM??? seriously you might think I got paid to say this stuff or I'm just a W- King Super fan and off my meds or something like that so I've got a challenge for you then GO PROVE THAT I'M WRONG,OR LYING BECAUSE IM GETTING PAID OR THAT IM TOTALLY BATSHIT AND OFF MY ZOLOFT WHATEVER YOU THINK MY ANGLE IS GO BUY ONE OF THESE SPEAKERS AND LET'S SEE WHAT YOUR REVIEW SAYS about the speaker and my honesty actually this could be alot of fun AND GO !
