so the short version is, I replaced the OEM heater element with this, and it does work. I also swapped all the OEM sensors that came with this kit. Multiple back to back large full loads of laundry dried as they use to when the dryer was working. Only been running 1 week so far, so I cant speak to the longevity, the OEM heating Element lasted 4 years. What I didn't like, the heavier gauged wire coils were now on top, which is opposite to the original part. The connecting wires were very short, so I had to stretch out the coils a bit before being able to connect them....It does work, but not sure how long it would last. If I get 6 months to a year out of this part, I will be happy
