    I had two of the older version of these for my Christmas lights and decorations that both gave up the ghost. They kept losing connection to HomeKit and I had to go out several times a week to reset them. Finally after 3 or 4 years they stopped working completely. So far this one seems better. It hasn’t lost connection to HomeKit once yet this winter. Time will tell if they’ve built obsolescence into them like the last ones I had. The better option is the Lutron one but you need a hub, it is only a single plug, and is more expensive. I have both now. We’ll see how they compare longer term.

This summer started to have problems, Apple HomeKit app started to report “No Response” and “Updating”. Could not remotely control outlets. This problem progressed to get worse. Have tried numerous troubleshooting options. I have other Meross light switches and Meross Matter Smart Plug Minis and these have worked fine. I have other Smart Home devices that also work fine. My network is not the problem.
