    They worked well for 14awg/16awg speaker wires, clip properly into the banana terminals and are the only option when using banana wire - 1 male to 2 female splitters. Larger more expensive banana plugs I have would touch and short by design - the metal contact points are exposed. The plastic heat shrink tube keeps everything separate and sealed. Recommend.

    I was worried that these plugs wouldn't be as good as the all-metal type I last purchased, but as it turns out these are far superior. I'm still at a loss as to how to properly assemble those metal sleeve types, the design isn't very intuitive or logical, but these make total sense and work great. One must be VERY careful not to back out the set-screw too much as it easily falls out and it a real pain to get back in unless you have tiny fingers, but they otherwise the way to go, head and shoulders better than the others. And the plugs stuck into the wall mount connector firmly and securely, unlike the all-metal ones which fit loose and wiggly. I will probably toss out those all-metal ones and replace them with more of these.

    I needed exactly 8 pairs of plugs for a 6.1.2 home theatre system. It appeared to be complete, so I began connecting all the plugs, and immediately found this system to be in some ways inferior to others I've used, as the rubber sheaths need to be placed over the wire before installing the plug. Not a big problem, but a nuisance as it gets in your way, and its easy to forget to put the sheath on sometimes, resulting in having to do it over. Also, these plugs are smaller than others I've used, and so harder to fit the speaker wire, although I was able to accommodate my 14 gauge. (This could be a good feature if you're using light gauge wire). Longs story short, it made for a longer process than usual, despite there only being one fastening screw per plug.
    Unfortunately, pulling off the sheath of the last plug revealed an empty socket where the fastening screw should have been. For other dual screw plugs I've used this wouldn't have been a problem, but rendered this last pair of plugs useless.
    Obviously, it wasn't worth the effort to disconnect the other 7 pairs of plugs already installed for a return, and the 鶹 return page doesn't include flexibility in their prompts to have the missing part shipped, so I'm left with one bare wire connection to the back of my receiver.
    A final note, as others have brought up, the contact part of the plug that fits in the jacks was a two piece design that can spin around the core of the plug, however there seemed to be close enough tolerance to make a reliable continuous connection, and the tensioned part remained tight, where others I've used lost tension after the first insert, so I don't see a problem from that aspect of the design.
    Overall, these are acceptable given their limitations, and the lack of quality control that left me one short. Sound quality was not effected to my ears.

    VCELINK 4mm banana plugs ; I decided to upgrade all my speaker connections to banana plugs . I have only used the banana plugs with the side slot that are much like the receiver connectors before I bought these . The vinyl sheaths are quite compact although you must hold them tight when pulling them out to avoid it slipping off . They only have 1 set-screw while some have 2 . However they seem quite secure but as someone mentioned be careful not to drop the set-screw unless you have ex-ray vision . I only have 14 gauge wire for which they work well . Liked them ! just ordered another pack .

    The plugs themselves are not bad - the case is "push on" so if they are going to be plugged in an out often, that could be an issue. The real problem is the packaging. They come in pairs in little zip lock bags - so huge plastic waste, but they were all firmly stuck TO the bags so extracting them took a LOT of work and a LOT of wasted time.
