Product Description
The PEAKTOW PTR0106 50Amp Generator Power Inlet Box is an excellent outdoor and watertight electrical inlet designed for a 50 Amp SS2-50 generator cord. It is designed to be located outdoors where the generator is running, preventing harmful carbon monoxide fumes from entering your home. The inlet box is securely hardwired through an outside wall directly to the transfer switch or panel, removing the need for cords running through windows or doors.
The four combination 1.2-inch knockouts (one on each side, bottom, and back) make wiring directly to the transfer switch or panel easy, and the new design provides generous wiring space and facilitates rough-in.
The face of the box is removable, making it simple to position and wire. The dimensions of the box are 4.2 x 3.04 x 6.15 inches (LWH), with 1.2-inch knockouts on the left, right, bottom, and back.

This power inlet box is ETL listed and rated for 50 amps at 125/250 volts with a NEMA SS2-50P configuration and NEMA type 3R rating certification.
Weatherproof & Corrosion-resistant
The steel construction with rugged, anti-corrosive powder-coat paint ensures durability, and the spring-loaded inlet cap helps prevent moisture from entering the connector inlet when it is not in use.
Safety Indicator Light
The upgraded design features a flip lid with a green light indicator that illuminates when the generator is plugged in and receiving power. This convenient and visible light provides an added level of safety, particularly when operating the generator at night.
