WHEN TO CHARGE THE BATTERY

New batteries are shipped in a low charged condition and should be fully charged before Use. The battery pack can be recharged at any time during use,provided the pack is not overheated.

If the battery pack starts to cut out due to low voltage, or previous tasks undertaken can no longer be performed, it is suggested to stop using the tool and recharge the battery.

For storage, it is suggested to recharge the battery between 50% and 75% charge.Charge the device at least once in 3-6 months to preserve battery life span.

    Tout d'abord, je suis une femme de 66 ans. J'utilisais un taille bordure électrique pour sa légèreté, car je n'ai pas beaucoup de force dans les bras. J'ai choisi ce taille bordure à batterie, car c'est plus léger qu'un à essence et je ne voulais plus avoir de fil à traîner. Malheureusement, le mode d'emploi est uniquement en anglais. Grâce aux images, il a été assez facile de l'assembler. La batterie n'était pas pleinement chargée. Mon terrain complet est de grandeur moyen et la batterie est suffisante. Il coupe l'herbe efficacement, sur une large surface. Je trouve que le garde de sécurité est superflu et il me nuit plus qu'autre chose. Son poids est légèrement plus lourd que mon ancien taille bordure, mais ça va. J'ai utilisé le 3/4 de la batterie pour ma cour arrière; ce qui est satisfaisant. Elle s'est rechargée rapidement. Comme première utilisation, je ne regrette pas mon achat.

    Unit easy to handle and does a good job trimming. Was concerned about battery life as we have a moderately large yard. First time out no problem at all, but second time out after being on continuous charge (manual says acceptable) only last two of four indicator lights were on and it quit soon after starting. On charger for a half-hour when noticed first two lights were now on. Unit started and completed trimming with no further issue. Note that battery shows all four lights during charge so hopefully there was only an initial problem and now ready to perform impressively like it did the first time out!

    Needed a light duty unit for a small townhouse front lawn. Unit appears well made of durable material and was easy to assemble but it does not have a lot of power - e.g. will bog down in grass over 3-4 inches high. If the battery indicator is linear in the way it shows rate of discharge I estimate probably 30 minutes of useful runtime. Does not have an auto line feed as far as I can tell but it's easy to pop the cartridge out and pull out more line. Comes with one spare reel.

    I ordered this while it was on sale for a great price. I had been using our weed eater from home to help an elderly client (I was his caregiver - now life long friends) with some weed eating around his house bc I saw the need and volunteered to do this for him. Well, my husband told me I wasn't "allowed" to take it over there to use anymore... (i have no idea why...) So.... instead of arguing, I bought this wonderful weed eater and I have left it at my friend's home where I use it fairly often. He is 78 yrs old and able to use it too bc it is very lightweight (BATTERY POWERED unlike the one he had when i first met him (GAS POWERED & *HEAVY*) The only thing I noticed was when it was time to order new replacement string, it was hard to find the right spool online bc the diameter is smaller. Still not a problem bc I did find an answer.. I took the new string off of the larger spool and put it on the one that came with the weedeater. Women can weed eat too.

    Same battery as my leafblower (also excellent!)
    Actually works 3 x better than the corded electric one I replaced it with
    Wheel and multi-angle adjustmant makes edging easy
    string advances everytime you start it - maybe wastes a bit of string, but still way better than the bump ones.
    The smallish battery that comes with it is fine for a whole yard of strimming. Add another if you need it.

    The only poor thing with this trimmer, is the availability of replacement line from the same company. 2 to 3 months availability is unexceptable. I'll have to go elsewhere for replacement line.

    5 minutes with this POS and I was ready to toss it. Worse than my 6 year old 18v Black and Decker. Can barely cut grass much less weeds Non-standard small spool. Probably ok if you live in a postage stamp tract house, but if you've got any real property this toy won't do. I bought it because I had good luck with their cordless impact and sawzall, but this is no pinche bueno. I guess I just bought a spare battery for the other tools...
