I prefer the 3 gallon kit deep pour so I can pour multiple projects at once. Easy out of forms and ready to sand or cut after 3-5 days depending on depth.

Our scientists have developed an epoxy resin made especially for deeper pours where you can expect your project to be bubble-free and clearer.
Quick & Easy Instructions
Measure
Into a mixing cup, pour twice the amount of resin (A) for each measurement of hardener (B) (2:1 ratio). Ex.: 500ml of resin (A) with 250ml of hardener (B).
If you measure by weight (g), use mixing ratio 100A:45B. Ex.: 300g (A) with 135g (B)
Mix
Stir both parts together for 4-5 minutes. Make sure to scrap the sides while stirring. Once done, you have up to 6 hours of working time.
Pour
Make sure that your project is leveled and pour the resin on it. DO NOT scrape the resin out of the container, just dump it and leave the remaining material in the container.
Tip: 15 minutes after pouring, you can quickly pass a blow torch a few inches over the resin to pop all the extra air bubbles.
Wait
Your project will be tack-free after 2 days and cured in 3 days. This curing time helps to release as many air bubbles as possible, and allows for deeper pours.
If you need to do an additional pour, you can do do so between 18 to 28 hours after the last pour. If you wait longer than that, you will need to sand your project with some 180 or 220 grit sandpaper.

Magic Resin is an awesome product for creating epoxy tables! Have a used some other products in the past but they have not been as reliable and easy to mix as this. Great for making all sizes of tables for deep pours. Still sets within 3 to 4 days even with fluctuations in temperature. I would highly recommend this product for your next pour.

According to the documentation, this product has a 3-4 day set time to be tack free and 7 days for full cure. The room temperature has to be between 24 and 27 degrees C.
However, I have been removing my projects from molds after 2 to 3 days. The exposed side hardens to a nice glossy shine. The mold faces are glossy as well. Once I adjusted for the set time, it hasn’t been a concern.
Some small bubbles have only appeared deep down in the casting and were hardly noticeable. I had no problem with surface bubbles at all.
My room temperature was typically in the low 20s most of the time with no noticeable effect on the set time. It seems to have very little odour once mixed and poured.
I have ordered the same resin again.
Revised Oct 22/21 four stars to five stars considering the quality of the results.

This was our first attempt at a river table. Done in 2 pours first with some colour added second, just clear. Company and customer service were excellent when I had a question quick response. We loved how the deep pour product dispersed bubbles for a flawless finish. Remember to seal up your frame completely sadly we used more than needed due to some epoxy escaping from our frame. Love that this is a Canadian Company!
