The Cable Matters USB-C Ethernet Switch is the ideal solution for sharing wired network and Internet access with multiple USB-C and Ethernet devices. The switch combines the utility of a USB-C Ethernet adapter and the performance of an Ethernet switch into a single universal adapter.
Important Notes
- This adapter is not compatible with the Switch game console.
- The adapter is bus-powered through the USB-C port. The adapter must be connected to a laptop or tablet USB port, or a USB-C wall charger to function.
- If the USB-C host is powered off or enters sleep mode, other computers and devices may lose network connectivity. To keep the adapter powered when the computer is put into sleep mode, disable power-saving settings on your computer’s USB ports.
Work and Play with Gigabit Speeds
The switch connects up to four devices to a wired Ethernet network though RJ45 and USB-C. It is useful in a variety of situations at home and at the office. Bring the adapter to a conference room to share wired Internet with a laptop via USB-C, and a variety of other Ethernet-based devices like printers and other laptops. At home, provide wired Internet access to a cable box, smart TV, and streaming device for latency-free and full-speed Gigabit networking.
